THE VAULT SUITE SEATS STRIKE AGAIN! One Photo is the millionaire seats, empty. The other photo is the other side, the same seats with real wizards fans, full. 6:20 in the 1st Quarter…NOT pregame or halftime. both photos taken five seconds apart. this is why Anthony Davis said that the crowd was weak at the wizards opening game. But it wasn’t weak… all the real fans were there. it’s the multimillion dollar seats empty every night. Caps and Wiz.

#Commanders wins have been so rare the past two years --- four at home — that the victory over Philadelphia overshadowed player options and trades for backup goalies and infielders. The only thing that would have made it bigger was if they lost. My column washingtontimes.com/news/202…

Kevin recaps the #Commanders 27-10 win over the #Eagles. It wasn't pretty but he provided his entire "GameTake" which included a Jayden Daniels' game breakdown and grade. Other NFL thoughts as well. Find it on all podcast platforms or: thekevinsheehanshow.com/2026…

Maybe it would be a good idea if the #Commanders opened up the entire practice to the media.

Hard to believe there is still almost 10 minutes left in just the first quarter #Commanders.

“This was Pete Rose‘s second year and he wasn’t yet a great hitter. He was still a kid. The excessiveness was already there. Nobody hustled like he did. He just had a different mindset than anyone else…I’d say he had a sociopathic profile.” facebook.com/share/p/1cHDcsW…

HOF Kurt Warner questioned if Jayden Daniels is being aggressive enough —bold talk from a QB who had Hall of Fame and Pro Bowl receivers most of his career. If Warner had #Commanders weapons, he would have found himself back bagging groceries. My column washingtontimes.com/news/202…

I was in the stands at Shea for this.
On Dec 9, 1979 the New York Jets played the New England Patriots at Shea Stadium. However it was a halftime incident that the 45,000 spectators probably remember most. For the sum of $800, "The Electronic Eagles of the Radio Controlled Association of Greater New York" put on a 15 minute show of radio controlled airplanes, and one flying lawnmower. Most of you are probably thinking; Is it a good idea to fly dozens of radio controlled planes over the heads of 45,000 in a windy open aired stadium like Shea? Most of you probably came to the conclusion that the answer would be a resounding no. But.... You're not in the front office of the NY Jets. You would think someone would have figured out this was a bad idea when one of the planes crashed onto the field, but the show went on. Then the flying lawnmower that was circling the stadium nose-dived into the stands, hitting about five rows behind the Patriots’ bench along the third base line. "I just lost control, that's what it was," said Philip Cushman the pilot. John Bowen, 20 years old of Nashua, N.H., was taken to hospital in critical condition and died from the injuries suffered. A witness said it appeared as if he had been hit by an axe. Kevin Rourke, 25, of Lynn, Mass., was released in satisfactory condition after suffering a concussion.
