Introducing verUSD.
The first stablecoin for AI agents, with more than $100,000,000 in institutional launch commitments from @AnimocaVentures, @FigmentCapital, @Sfermion_, @PentosVentures, @ark_stream, and others.
Robots have less than 1% of the experience language models learned from. Here’s how Axis Robotics is closing the gap, and what it’s building on Verona to make the data provable.

AI agents can't open bank accounts. So how do they pay?
@verona_dev just launched verUSD, a dollar stablecoin built for AI agent payments, with about $60M in committed revenue behind it. verona:native
CEO @BurntBanksy Anthony Anzalone breaks it down:
Robots learn the way people do, by watching someone do the task first. The problem is almost nobody has recorded it.
@axisrobotics has 270,000 people doing it from a browser, and it’s building on Verona’s data layer so every recording comes with proof it’s real.
A buyer checks the proof instead of running an audit, and the data underneath stays private to the people who made it. Verona is the intelligence layer for AI, and this is what that looks like for a robot.
Verona proves what's true. @AlphioAI trades on what's next.
Alphio is bringing its agentic trading layer to Verona. An agent that executes inside your risk rules should know your real exposure and not just the one account it's connected to, and that's the kind of fact Verona is built to prove.
Prediction markets are where this gets sharp. Alphio reads the flows and surfaces probabilities the market has mispriced. Those markets settle on facts about the world, and proving a fact about the world without exposing the source is the thing Verona does.
JUST IN: Verona has crossed 12,500,000 Verified Data Points (VDPs)
9.5M of them were verified in the past five weeks alone, putting VDP volume up 300% in a month and daily active accounts up over 2,000% since the rebrand.
verUSD launched in Seoul last month as the first stablecoin for AI agents, backed by more than $100M in institutional launch commitments, and since then Korea’s business press has been asking what it takes for an agent to act on someone’s behalf. @BurntBanksy told Hankyung that it starts with proof, because Verona verifies what an agent needs to know about a person without ever exposing who they are. An agent needs verified context to make a decision and a dollar built for it to pay, and Verona provides both.
