This is the single biggest story in #Sudan right now and it's not getting anywhere near enough attention
Sudan faces the Four Horsemen: War, Famine, Death and Conquest - in an apocalyptic spiral while authorities deny the issues & global response budgets shrink.

🚨Just as some #Sudan farmers try to plant after fighting moves on, El Nino is pummeling them with the worst drought in decades.
WFP projects more than 1mln people will enter severe hunger as a result, and is unlikely to be able to help them.

The digital lynchings continue as Black authors are being targeted in AI/plagiarism scandals: Jamir Nazir, Jerry Falade, Thélyson Orélien and now Simbarashe Kundizeza. And none other than the ghastly Atlantic to cover this with condescension and big dollops of racism
On the Beirut book fair happening now: “The fair is taking place in its traditional location near the port, which took two years to rebuild following the explosion in 2020….108 panels will be held.” -- @oliviasnaije

My new book, The Architecture of Complicity: How India Helped Israel Conduct a Genocide in Gaza, will be published by @PlutoPress in January 2027.
The book shows how India, which presents itself as a leader of the Global South, helped enable Israel’s genocide in Gaza alongside its Western allies.
It traces media complicity, diplomatic shielding at international forums and the replacement of Palestinian workers with Indian labour. It also examines how and why Palestine failed to become a national political issue in India.
Drawing on previously unpublished military trade data, the book reveals the scale of Indian military exports to Israel during the genocide.
It will be available in the US, UK, South Africa and, hopefully, India.
