Five times more people die from cold than heat in the UK, but Labour still calls opening the Jackdaw gas field "climate vandalism."
The approval came so late it won't ease this winter's shortages.
Britain already pays some of the world's highest electricity prices.
Renewables meanwhile get ยฃ12 billion in yearly subsidies.

Brussels is forcing EU countries to plan for four degrees of warming across the continent.
A new adaptation law would make this the required scenario for national strategies.
Governments must complete risk assessments and adaptation plans by 2030.
The Commission claims Europe will warm faster than the rest of the world.

Germany is on the hook for another 6 trillion euros to push through its green energy transition by 2045.
That's hundreds of billions every year for grids and infrastructure.
The grid overhaul alone will drive fees through the roof.
Factories are already getting bailed out by the government just to stay.

Big Tech is spending $750 billion this year on data centers. That's equal to all U.S. K-12 education spending.
Protests hit 42 states. 61% of Americans oppose one in their own community. New bans keep coming.
Yet construction spending jumped 75% in one year. The number of data centers nearly doubled since early 2024.
The opposition isn't slowing it down.

China's record harvest of over 700 million tons of grain is embarrassing the climate crisis movement.

A bumper crop from the world's largest producer doesn't fit that picture.
So expect zero headlines on this one.
NASA links much of the Earth's greening to higher CO2 levels, with China in the lead.
Yet the same activists pushing to cut emissions ignore these benefits.

NPR and AP claimed Europeโs heat killed 50,000 people last summer, blaming climate change for exactly 32,619 of those deaths.
Those arenโt real body counts.
No one produced a list of 50,391 actual heat victims or 32,619 climate change fatalities.
The numbers come from computer models that estimate deaths from temperature records, then subtract another model of a world without human emissions.
The story even admits the base count required statistical modeling.
They treat the output like observed deaths anyway.

They blame it for over 50,000 heat deaths in Europe this summer, with claims of a 36% surge in such deaths since the Paris deal.
The report even floats 450,000 more excess deaths on the way.
This push comes just before COP31 in Turkey.

Climate scientists whispered ASMR messages about saving the earth and measured zero impact on anyone's mood or future plans.
The experiment used 70-second videos of Bavarian streams and forests. Whispers versus text made no difference. Nature sounds versus silence made no difference. All versions left well-being and green intentions unchanged.
The authors still see potential from some open comments anyway.
Even the plain text version without any ASMR performed the same.

CBC News claims climate change is causing wild weather swings that are endangering pumpkin harvests in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The data says otherwise.
Weather records from St. Johnโs back to 1874 show no rising trend in temperature or rainfall variability from one summer to the next. If anything, the swings are getting smaller.
Pumpkin production numbers for the province hit their lowest point in 2010 and some of their highest in the last three years on record.
CBC leaned on one climatologist and a couple of farmers to push the scare anyway.
