Given how much Paxton/Rs have tried to imply things about Talarico’s personal life, it’s a tough posture to now say Paxton’s personal life is off limits. Good NYT story here about the woman influencer behind the Paxton scenes. nytimes.com/2026/10/27/us/ke…

Judge CARTER makes clear he is deeply skeptical of DOJ position. He wants to know why, if DOJ has suspicions peopel are illegally registered, prosecutors should charge them. "Let's get busy," he says. ESSAYLI: "We're very busy." CARTER: "Get busier."

Trump's DOJ failed to indict one of his foes again. Again, it's very rare for a grand jury not to indict. The fact that it's happened repeatedly with attempted indictments of Trump's foes is extremely telling about the validity of these cases. cnn.com/2026/10/27/politics/…

Over the final week, there is slated to be more spent on the South Carolina Senate race than on Alaska and New Hampshire. There's also slated to be more spent on Kansas than on Texas and Maine. cnn.com/2026/10/27/politics/…

10 of 11 quality polls in Maine show no clear leader. In Iowa, the last 5 have. In Michigan, it's the last 3. In Texas, it's 5 of the last 6. Other races are just outside the margin of error or have no quality polls. The range of Senate outcomes is enormous. cnn.com/2026/10/27/politics/…

No lies detected.
It is comically dark outside at 7am. Now imagine its 830am and its pitch black That is what Trump, the Florida mafia, and boomer degenerate golfing retirees want for the hard working people of this country with permanent DST

Quite a chronology in the FT. In May, Putin’s associate Umar Kremlev paid for Donald Trump Jr’s wedding party in the Caribbean. In August, Trump Jr went to hunt endangered species with Kremlev in Mongolia. He also allegedly auctioned access to the trip for $225,000. In September, Propublica broke the wedding reception story. giftarticle.ft.com/giftartic…

The new Marist poll in Maine is really something. It shows Troy Jackson +9 among RV, but just +2 among LV. But also: It shows Democrat Hannah Pingree tied with Republican Bobby Charles 44-44 among LV in the governor's race. Pingree has consistently led by double-digits.

Just hours after the below post, we found out DOJ has accused James Comey of crimes for the third time now. (With the first being thrown out, and the second being of clearly dubious validity.)

👀 A Trump admin declaration in its lawsuit against California describes its process for flagging potential noncitizen voters but also indicates that the review is “ongoing” and that it discovered “minor data discrepancies” for 189 people it identified storage.courtlistener.com/re…

If the GOP is so confident the polls are that far off, why is the president campaigning for Senate candidates in states he won by 16, 18, 20 and (just last night) 23 points? That would seem a gross misuse of his time this late in the campaign.
NEW: Speaker Mike Johnson tells @LauraIngraham that polls are “inaccurate” and “grossly underestimating Republican enthusiasm.” “Keep voting. Shock them.” “We do not want to go back to crazy.” “I'm afraid if these Democrats took control of Congress, it would be crazier even than the Obama years

One of Trump’s “Front Row Joes” says she voted for more Ds than Rs. Adds: “At every local and state level the Republican party is corrupt.”
Well, I voted today. As many of you know, I had contemplated not voting for the first time in my adult life. I guess civic duty won out. I normally vote straight ticket republican and have for 45 years. Today, I voted for ONE Republican, quite a few Libertarians, a write in candidate and two Democrats. The Republican Party took a loyal voter like myself and spit in my face. Instead of doing what I always do and just vote R, I said NO. I am of the belief the only thing that will correct the collusion course Republicans are on is to let the collusion occur, then throw every established leader out of the party and start over. At every local and state level the Republican party is corrupt. This is why bad candidates are put forth by the party. They choose the candidate and you are expected to conform to their choice. This is why burning it all down is the only way forward. If this cannot be accomplished a new party of the people must be formed, it's the only way.
