Just got a call from Desert Mountain coach Conrad Hamilton and he told me the plan is to play at 10 a.m. tomorrow. That’s what Hamilton and Notre Dame Prep coach George Prelock agreed on.
Hamilton said he’s still waiting to get it confirmed with the AIA and district AD, but that’s the tentative plan right now.

UPDATE: Desert Mountain vs. Notre Dame Prep has been canceled.
I was told it’s going to be rescheduled, but wasn’t told any following information after that.
Trying to figure out more details.

Game called at 730PM. Very frustrating to have opposing admin not want to even try to figure out a way to play these Seniors' last game. My heart hurts for ours & Alhambra's Seniors. Meanwhile I'm scrolling & seeing teams agreeing to modify their games tonight & make it work.

I think the Maxpreps ratings aren't the flaw... it's how the 4A conference set up the regions. When you have loaded regions and regions that aren't, you're going to get skewed results. In previous years the Maxpreps rating was more accurate than the AIA ratings.

FINAL
MDN 36, Tempe 30.
Very chaotic ending. Play calling. Confusion on strategy.
Discipline issues.
