The Green Party say that they want to "abolish landlords".
And yet *both* of their Deputy Leaders are, in fact, landlords.
Clearly, they know there's nothing wrong with renting out a property. So why are they trying to impose this rubbish on the rest of us?
Absolute farce at @AeroportNice. Not a single person available to check UK passports. Lady managing the queue said in french to her superior ‘I told you to keep them on the runway for a bit’
Innovative and creative way of managing passenger flow.
The passport machines sit vacant unable to be switched on. Eventually, a grumpy officer meanders to his booth resenting being interrupted from his morning coffee and cigarette.
Still, at least he wasn’t on strike or out looting. Seriously #Nice airport sort this nonsense out. It’s every week and getting worse.

Root and branch reforms are needed to the Capital Gains Tax system to help tackle the rental housing supply crisis.
The current system cannot distinguish between genuine gains and price increases resulting from inflation. We’re calling on the Chancellor to tax gains, not inflation, and to recognise long-term investment rather than short-term property flipping.

And this shows what a nonsense and divisive policy it is. People become #landlords for a whole host of reasons - and at a time when housing is in short supply, I’d say we need more Rachel Millwards. I hope those LLs within the Green Party will be able to inject a dose of common sense into their housing policies.
