We visited Diane and Matthias, who lost their Malibu home in the Woolsey Fire and rebuilt it to be safer and more resilient, with fire-resistant materials, sprinklers, solar with battery backup, and native landscaping. There are ways to make homes safer and more insurable.

With Habitat for Humanity to help Palisades families rebuild. Since the fire, I’ve seen what underinsurance and permitting delays have done to this community. But seeing so many people come together to build homes for families in need who lost everything felt hopeful @HabitatLA
