The U.S. Navy promoted Cleveland State University professor Benjamin E. “Ben” Baran, Ph.D., to the rank of rear admiral (lower half) at an Oct. 6 ceremony at the USS Cod Submarine Memorial in Cleveland. Baran is an associate professor of management in the Monte Ahuja College of Business. He has been a member of the university’s faculty since 2016.
