Tutorial hell feels productive. You watch videos. Save prompts. Bookmark courses. Learn terminology. Then you try building something alone and freeze. Consumption is not practice.

A simple way to get less agreeable AI responses: Ask it to challenge your assumptions before answering. Tell it to identify weak logic, missing evidence, and opposing arguments. You do not always need another answer. Sometimes you need resistance.

AI gets much more useful when you explicitly ask it to disagree with you. Tell it to challenge your assumptions, identify weak reasoning, and explain why your plan might fail. Do not let agreement fool you into thinking an idea is strong.

One overlooked way to learn AI: Ask AI to teach you AI. When something confuses you, ask what it means. When your prompt fails, ask why. When your workflow breaks, ask it to explain the failure. Use the tool as the tutor.
