Last month, we brought communications leaders together in Geneva for a conversation that’s quickly moving up every comms agenda: how AI is changing the way organisations are seen.
AI has moved from a productivity tool to strategic infrastructure. It increasingly shapes what audiences learn about a brand before they ever read a headline or visit a website. For PR and comms teams, that changes what reputation management means and what needs to be measured.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and to Orla Graham for leading such a thoughtful session. Next we have London workshop on 3rd November and Milan on 10th November.

What does AI say about your organisation?
PR leaders are hearing this question more and more, often right after the CEO has asked AI and didn’t like the answer. A few prompts and some screenshots won’t give you a proper picture.
In our latest article, Chip Griffin, CARMA’s Chief Strategy Officer and a specialist in PR and communications, explains how CARMA answers this new question with two products that work together:
🔹 AI Visibility, available inside CARMA Insight platform, tracks how you appear in AI answers across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok and Mistral, in the markets that matter to you.
🔹 LLM Perception is an analyst-led engagement in which our CARMA experts dig into. They look at what those results mean for your reputation and what to do about them.
The dashboard shows visibility, share of voice, average rank, the sources AI cites and the answers themselves, all in line with AMEC’s GEO Principles. That gives you a clear picture to take to leadership, not a pile of screenshots.

“If we want a modern economy, a modern workforce and AI-enabled industries, we need compute. And if we’re going to have compute, we need electricity.”
Scepticism about AI’s energy demands is coming through strongly in traditional and social media, both across the region and in Europe. So how should organisations respond?
In CARMA’s global webinar series, From Megawatts to Message, Daniel Azaria, Communications Manager at European Energy, tells Paige Lingwood why now is the time to make a case.

72.2% of autonomous driving coverage is positive. So where does the doubt come from?
Part 4 of our Driving Change report looks at media perception, based on 30,528 media and social items. A few findings:
1. The doubt isn't about autonomy. 37% of negative narratives are "hype versus reality": whether claims match reality.
2.Same technology, different conversations. Coverage is 85.9% positive in the UAE and 56.8% in Canada.
3.Trust is built slowly and lost quickly. Independent testing has a net trust effect of +91.8. Past incidents, −87.0.
What this means for communicators: one core story, different proof. Prove the claim, make responsibility visible, and localise the evidence.

If the headline is all people read, the headline becomes the message.
When communicating something as complex as the energy reality of AI data centres, that creates a real challenge. How do you make the story clear enough to capture attention without stripping away the context that matters?
In our global From Megawatts to Message webinar series, Tim Hurst, Group Managing Director and EMEA Head of Energy & Industrials at Burson, joins CARMA’s Paige Lingwood to discuss how headline driven media consumption is changing the way communications teams need to approach complex energy stories.
As Tim explains, when audiences are not making it beyond the headline, communicators need to think carefully about what that first message says and what people will take away from it.

- How the AI data centre narrative is developing
- What is driving scepticism and negative coverage
- Who is shaping the conversation

When a crisis hits, how can brands stop it from spiralling?
The goal is simple: reduce the peak, shorten the duration and reach resolution faster. But doing that requires knowing what is driving the conversation and which concerns need attention first.
In the latest article from The Measurement Standard, CARMA’s Chip Griffin explores how effective media monitoring, rapid analysis and the right response can help communications teams manage the crisis curve before it grows. He also looks at why different crises demand very different responses.
