Kyle Larson backed up what he told Cliff Daniels in Victory Lane, saying he almost went below the yellow line because he started celebrating early and had his hand off the wheel.
"I'd have been really pissed at myself if I did go below ... When my momentum was taking me past the 47 I was fistpumping before I ever got to the line. So yeah, that would've been embarrassing if we didn't win."
Larson also acknowledged that it was close.
Cliff Daniels shared in the Media Center that Kyle Larson apparently was fistpumping before he ever got to the finish line, and the fact he was driving one-handed as he passed Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was the reason he was as close to the yellow line as he was. Larson corroborated that just now.
These are photos of Cliff seeing pictures of just how close it was

Having the High Limit staff, and teams join us this year just elevated things to another level. The POWRi WAR guys were putting on some solid non wing racing as well, and appreciate the effort from both groups throughout the weekend.
Saturday nights crowd had some electricity in it that I haven’t felt or seen at Lucas Oil Speedway in a long time. So thanks to everyone that came out this weekend!
Tons of positives to take from the weekend, but also a lot more work to do to get where we want to be. Huge thanks to our staff for busting their ass, and adapting to some new things at the speedway this year. Planning for Hockett 2027 starts now 👊🏽
Coffee, breakfast, mimosas and bloody marys, and the TNT bags tournament all going on this morning outside the campground here @lucasspeedway!
Come get your picture taken with the Saturday Night Championship trophy, in front of the replica victory lane backdrop. This backdrop was signed by all the drivers and will be raffled off Saturday night at intermission! Purchase tickets in the @lucasspeedway merch store!
