A huge congratulations to Sophie Robson, our October Close House Hero! 👏
Sophie, from our Accounts & Events team, has been recognised for her outstanding initiative, positivity, and commitment to making a difference across the golf club. In recent months, Sophie has taken the lead on several projects she has identified and driven herself, demonstrating fantastic initiative and a real desire to improve others' experiences. In particular, she has worked hard to help new team members integrate seamlessly into life at Close House, making them feel welcome, supported, and part of the team from day one.
Sophie is always willing to go the extra mile, approaches every challenge with a positive attitude, and never fails to greet colleagues with a smile. Her enthusiasm and dedication have made a real impact, and she is a shining example of our Close House values.
Well done, Sophie, and thank you for everything you do! ⭐

Huge congratulations to our Close House Hero for October, Joe Page 🌟
As our Head Assistant Professional, Joe also plays an important role in the day-to-day operations of our Golf Services team, helping to deliver golf days, events and everything in between. His willingness to get involved and support both members and guests makes a real difference to the experience we provide.

Advanced Fellow Coach of the PGA 👏
We are delighted to share some fantastic news and recognise an outstanding achievement by one of our long-serving PGA Golf Professionals, Sally Hinton.
Sally has recently been awarded Advanced Fellow Coach status by the PGA, an exceptional accolade that reflects her dedication, expertise, and commitment to coaching excellence. This is a remarkable achievement, with only around 100 Fellow Coaches currently serving within the PGA. Sally has been a highly valued member of the Close House team since 2010, when the Golf Academy first opened its doors. Over the past 16 years, she has played a significant role in developing golfers of all ages and abilities. ⛳
This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication Sally has shown to both Close House and the PGA throughout her career. It is thoroughly deserved and highlights the high standards of coaching and development that we are proud to offer.
Congratulations Sally, from everyone at Close House 🎉

A brilliant day today as our members enjoyed the chance to spend time with our Attached Touring Professional, @WestwoodLee. 🏌️
Lee kicked things off with a Beat the Pro challenge on the 17th before heading out onto the course to join different groups. He played a few holes with members, hit some shots, and shared plenty of tips and advice along the way. ⛳
The day finished with a Q&A during the presentation dinner, giving members the chance to hear from Lee and ask their own questions.
A massive thank you to Lee for being a great host as always! 🙌
Good luck to all the members participating in the Ford Harrison Trophy today. ⛳ 🤞
A huge thank you to Ford Harrison IFA for sponsoring this event and for their ongoing support of the club. 🤝
Today is #ThankAGreenkeeper day! We want to give a big shout-out to our incredible greenkeeping team, who have worked tirelessly throughout the season. They’ve maintained our courses to the highest standards this summer and we’re so grateful for their dedication and hard work! 💚
