The obvious solution here is to just remove the geoblock and sell Eurosport subs to the US.

All of the existing subscription revenue, none of the associated expense of running GCN.

Not to say the GCN team didn't do a ton of really good work adding value along side and in addition to the live coverage—they absolutely did.

trying to decide whether or not the Glorious Revolution should negate this distinction. Mason's being a Scot complicates the matter substantially.

@camerooney_ becomes the first non Belgian or Dutch rider to ever finish on the Elite Men's European Champs podium! #EuroCross23

last time the #TdF did a big stint above 2000m in the closing days, one stage got cancelled mid-race, another cut to <60km, and the GC was decided by a magical, invisible finish line, invented after the fact. howtheracewaswon.com/2019/to…
Three climbs about 2,000m including the highest pass in Europe... Could this be the queen stage of the #TDF2024?

anyway, just hoping the contingency plans are a little more robust than last time.

I said it in the comments here, but there a few things better than a hotly-contested last lap in a 'cross race: instagram.com/p/CyyL8IQutRn/

I failed to note in the episode that Flume Gorge (where I recorded) is also the southern terminus of the Franconia Notch Bike Path. If you're a dedicated paved-road cyclist who wants to feel the MTB buzz of zipping along a narrow path in the woods, it's highly recommended.

"And then behind, I tried to flick everyone, as usual" Refreshing honestly from Adam Yates about munging up the chase.

Stragglers at a dead stop trying to fight through the Pinot crowds—It's like they don't even care that UCI points go down to 60th!

I do not recall Lombardia attracting such a throng in early editions, but I'm here for it.

if Pog pulls this off, enough salt caked onto his kit to garnish celebratory team margaritas for *days*.

Galaxy brain: fake cramps to make the chase groups start looking at each other.

Gotta imagine Remco is threatening his chase group with merger rumors if they don't pull through.

82k is a long way, even for Ben Healy.
