Best English player of all time, Harry Kane. Nobody deserved the award more than him either, and to win it in London too… 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏆 Give him that knighthood in the New Year’s honours list. @andyburnham #BallonDor

So… we’ve got Stalin, Reinhard Heydrich, and *checks notes*, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the founder of ISIS… in a “Top 50 Most Loved People In History”. Jesus Christ. #LUFC
I’ll help the Leeds fans out. Here is where you can put Marcelo Bielsa. Good point against the scum!!💪💪

🚨 Jamie Carragher questions the referee on Leeds potential penalty against Manchester United: 🗣️ “Honestly, I've watched that incident involving Harry Maguire and Calvert-Lewin, and I still have questions about how it was handled. Calvert-Lewin was trying to compete for the ball, but Maguire appeared to have both arms around him. If you're holding an opponent like that while he's trying to move towards the ball, how exactly do you expect him to compete fairly? For me, that's precisely the kind of incident the referee needs to examine carefully. You're not just looking at two players making normal contact. You're looking at whether one player is being prevented from challenging properly. And what makes it more frustrating is that this is the Premier League. We have VAR specifically to help officials review important incidents. So, when there's a serious question about a possible penalty, you expect the decision to be properly examined. I'm not saying every bit of contact in the penalty area should result in a penalty. Football is a physical game. But there's a difference between normal physical contact and holding an opponent in a way that prevents him from playing the ball. Now, imagine the same thing happening to Bruno Fernandes at the other end. Do you honestly believe Manchester United's players would simply accept it and move on? Of course, they'd be demanding an explanation. That's why consistency matters. The badge on a player's shirt should make absolutely no difference to how the laws are applied. “mLeeds have every right to ask questions about that incident. If the officials believe it wasn't a penalty, then the decision needs to be defensible. For me, the biggest issue isn't whether Manchester United won or lost. It's whether the same standard is being applied to every team. Leeds deserve the same fairness, the same scrutiny, and the same protection as every other club in this league. That's what football should be about.”

It’s not until you look back you really realise how mental this was. The only priority in most fans heads was promotion, but to win it like that, right at the death. One of the best feelings. #LUFC

Daniel Farke and Leeds United have reached an agreement in principle on a new contract running to 2029. Paperwork to be finalised and signed, but there is broad agreement on the structure of the new terms.#lufc nytimes.com/athletic/7665636…

Absolutely bang on. Every time DCL was dragged to the floor by the #Arsenal defence after holding up play. Not one card/foul given, no consistency whatsoever, and like DF says, the 4th official in Mikel’s TA. Arsenal have officials on their side. Red Cartel at it again. #LUFC

The irony that the most sense ever spoken on AFTV isn’t from an Arsenal. Big up @JTLivee 💪 🤣 #LUFC
City broke the rules, but was the system itself designed to keep clubs like Leeds from ever reaching the top? 📷 #MatchPreview

While I’m at the idea Butler should probably go, who do we realistically go and get in? Because we are 21st in the National League. We are NOT getting Stuart Maynard. 😂 Could feasibly see an Andy Whing type of appointment, experience at building teams in NL & NLN. #UTI

But given the way it ended for him at Brackley, it’s a bleak appointment. Would he want to get straight into another dog fight weeks after leaving one in the NLN? I’m really struggling with where we turn to from here, + the board will likely be thinking the same. #UTI

📰 A hard-fought display ends in defeat at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon. Lots to be proud of for the Whites, but it was two defining moments of class from the champions which saw them win all three pts. Read the report below. 👇 #LUFC #MOT roundtable.io/sports/soccer/…

FULLTIME: Heartbreak for #LUFC at the Emirates. Justin put Leeds ahead, but Calafiori quickly levelled before substitute Guimarães finished off a stunning move to win all three pts. A brave performance from the Whites, but nothing to show for it. #MOT roundtable.io/sports/soccer/…
