Big feeling? Try a small pause. Teach children a simple strategy: breathe in slowly, pause, then breathe out slowly. Learning to name and manage feelings takes practice—and that’s okay.
Wishing our students, staff, families, and community a safe Halloween! 🧡🖤 As you head out for trick-or-treating, keep these important safety tips in mind 🚨 In case of an emergency, please call EISD Police at 210-898-2025.
A report card tells a story of growth—not perfection. Celebrate what your child has learned, recognize their effort and choose an area to keep improving. Every new skill mastered is another step forward on a journey that can someday end with a cap, gown and diploma!
Don't forget! Monday, Nov. 2 is a student holiday for most EISD students.
All ACE Campuses -- HBG, Perales and RDLA -- will be on an early release schedule.
Gardendale ELP & Brentwood Middle will be on regular operating schedule.
🎃👻 Halloween fun is in full swing at Edgewood ISD! Our day kicked off with exciting storybook character parades, followed by students celebrating in their Halloween costumes while continuing to learn in the classroom! 🧡🖤
❤️ As we wrap up Red Ribbon Week, we want to thank all of our campuses for coming together to raise awareness and encourage our students to stay drug-free! We’re also sharing a few photos from the Red Ribbon Week concert held earlier this week at Edgewood Fine Arts Academy! 🎶
Safe riders make safe bus rides! Remind young riders to stay seated, keep the aisle clear and listen carefully to the driver. These simple rules help everyone get to and from school safely.
🏐📸 Serving up school spirit at Brentwood STEAM! Our volleyball team recently stepped in front of the camera for media day, capturing the energy, teamwork and pride that make our student-athletes special ❤️
Learning, growing and discovering new possibilities! 📚✨ Every day, Edgewood ISD students have opportunities to explore new ideas, build skills and take steps toward their future. The time is now to learn something new!
Vaccination helps reduce the spread of vaccine-preventable illnesses and adds protection for classmates who may be especially vulnerable to serious illness. When families take steps to protect their children, they help strengthen the health of the school community.
There’s always something happening on campus! Follow your middle or high school on Facebook and Instagram for student achievements, athletics, activities, celebrations and important reminders. You may even discover an event or accomplishment your student forgot to mention!
Seeing red for all the right reasons! Our Central Office team proudly wore red in support of Red Ribbon Week and the commitment to making healthy, positive choices every day. ❤️ #RedRibbonWeek #EdgewoodProud
Busy morning? We’ve got breakfast covered—and lunch, too! Every Edgewood ISD student receives FREE breakfast and FREE lunch every school day. One less thing for families to worry about.
🦸♀️❤️ Our students are everyday superheroes! For Red Ribbon Week, our students at RDLA showed off their superhero spirit while celebrating the importance of making healthy choices! 💪✨

Tomorrow’s school day starts tonight. A consistent bedtime can make it easier for students to wake up, get ready and arrive at school prepared to learn. Build tonight’s routine with tomorrow’s success in mind.
At Stafford VPA, students have the opportunity to explore their creativity and discover their talents! Our Folklórico program is just one example of the incredible opportunities available to students ✨💙💛
Students don’t have to handle every challenge alone. Academic pressure, friendships, peer pressure, family concerns or simply having a difficult day can feel overwhelming. Support staff are available on campus to listen and help them identify next steps.
Great habits start small. A quiet place to read, a regular homework time and a few minutes of practice each day can help young students become confident, independent learners. The habits they build today can travel with them all the way to graduation!
