Honestly as an artist this is depressing, can you imagine how many similar cases go under the radar? If this artist hadn't come across that figure, or if the post hadn't blown up, maybe they would never get compensation/recognition for it. Artists deserve respect and payment for their work, this is leggit theft and it's CRAZY some companies think that's okay to do. What pisses me off is they probably think there will be no consequences whatsoever because "oh its just a freelance artist, they wont sue us, and IF they happen to notice we'll just pay them and we'll be good"
