ok so looks like the largest crypto hack of all time, here's where we're at:
Stolen:
• ~$5.57B across Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Tron: ~$3.51B ETH, ~$1.44B BTC, ~$630M Tron.
Frozen:
• ~$2.39B in stablecoins: ~$1.567B USDT, ~$823M USDC
• Aave froze V3 and V4 on eth mainnet, precautionary but prevents the attacker from causing bad debt with illicit funds
leaves residual exposure at ~$2.6–$3.2B, beating out Feb 2025's $1.5B Bybit hack for the largest crypto heist of all time.

we forecast finishing at 850k, enough shortfall of the 1m that on Oct 24 we paused whitelisting & asked backers to hold any further deposits

Thank you to everyone who backed Armada and gave us feedback.
We forecast the crowdfund to finish at ~850k USDC, below our 1M minimum. Rather than move the threshold or force the final amount through, we have decided to let the crowdfund close as designed.
The invite-only structure, whitelisting, and ticket-size caps made participation harder than intended, and we’ve learned a lot from that.
All contributors will be able to reclaim 100% of their USDC through the contract when the crowdfund closes at 6pm UTC on 29th October.
Armada will continue, and we have not stopped working on our shielded pool.
We’re evaluating other ways to fund Armada that preserve the principles behind the crowdfund while making participation easier. Our original backers will be our priority as we plan what comes next!
