We’re so excited to be partnering with @Kling_ai on MINIBOTS, combining cinematic storytelling, larger-than-life characters, comedy and action with a new approach to animated feature filmmaking!
Kling AI is teaming up with @EvoFilmsUK as the exclusive technology partner on Minibots, their upcoming animated feature.
Directed by John Adams from Evolutionary Films, produced by BAFTA-nominated Diane Shorthouse, character design by Tony Bancroft (co-director of Mulan), written by Michael Ferris (Terminator 3), the project has already been making the rounds at major film festival markets at Cannes and TIFF, and is set for release in 2027.
Now for the first look at Minibots — powered by Kling 4.0! #Kling4 #KlingAI

Check out this 3D storyboard made with AI tools. We love creating as much action in-camera as possible but unfortunately #dinosaurs don't exist anymore so VFX and AI will be used to create them in the final film. Please subscribe to our #youtube channel!

Tomorrow in Cannes, we’re letting the Compsognathus out of the bag with the launch of our live action, VFX and AI hybrid new and original IP universe PIRATES vs DINOSAURS. We’ll be taking over the UK Pavilion tomorrow evening for a drinks reception, Q&A and table read.
We didn’t really get the whole AI action figure thing until Glenn Salvage sent us this. Wish we’d had some made at the time now! Maybe some I Am Vengeance ones too… Though WWE probably wouldn’t approve of competing action figures of their wrestlers!
