Today I continued my visitation to commiserate and support our PU agents and supporters that were brutalized by APC Thugs on saturday. We started in Agege, then Shomolu, Bariga and Kosofe LG. It was heart breaking to see a grown man cry in front of his children because he can't walk. It was encouraging to see courage, strong spirits and undefeated hearts, despite adversity. We stand with you, we will continue to support you and we will overcome. God bless you all.

🗣️What is currently bedevilling Lagos state and waste management is corruption Speaking on Road to 2027,
Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour (@GRVlagos ) criticises the current waste collection system and proposes opening the sector to greater private investment.
Can more private waste collectors help solve Lagos' waste management challenges?

I am deeply concerned by reports of the alleged arrest of Rilwan Olawale, an Obidient in Lagos, reportedly by the Department of State Services (DSS).
The circumstances surrounding Rilwan’s reported arrest, including the reasons for his detention and the legal basis for it, remain unclear.
I, therefore, call on the DSS. @OfficialDSSNG to immediately clarify the situation and, if it is responsible for his detention and there are no lawful grounds to hold him, release him without delay.
If any allegations exist against him, they must be addressed through due process, not arbitrary detention or intimidation.
I maintain that no Nigerian should be arrested, detained or intimidated for their political beliefs, affiliations or peaceful expression.
Our democracy cannot thrive if citizens live in fear of exercising their fundamental rights.
Security agencies exist to protect Nigerians, not to make citizens afraid of their own country.
I will continue to monitor developments and seek clarity on this matter.
Our democracy must never become a system where dissent is treated as a crime and citizens are punished for exercising their constitutional rights.

Bola @officialABAT, your campaign spokesman has admitted that ministers paid billions in bribes to secure their appointments. You appointed them, so who received the money? Nigerians deserve names, not silence.
Your government’s reckless decisions have driven the cost-of-living crisis. And when you withhold funds from ministries because you distrust your own ministers, Nigerians are left paying for a government that has abandoned them. -AA

Our city stinks because of corruption , Just like the Thug and agbero crisis, this APC government lacks the political will to do something about it because they are direct beneficiaries.
We simply cannot solve our problems from the same mindset that created them.
It is time to do things differently, they cannot achieve in the next four years what they have failed to achieve in over 20years.
It is an abomination that an " experienced" sitting governor after over 20years is campaigning on " we will , we will ' ...We will not accept that.
Lagos deserves better and you deserve so much more . A government that understands and puts you first, not one that is trigger happy, violent and without empathy .

They are normalising this bullying system of governance that has come to describe what the APC government has become, and the citizen is going to have to really understand what is at stake here because we need a government that actually understands that lives were lost on this day. Innocent citizens were killed.

Earlier today on Channels tv, i discussed the normalising of violence and intimidation by the APC government.
Furthermore, i stressed the vital need for citizens to ensure we focus on the many issues that actually affect our lives.
Resist and block every juvenile attempt to distract you: the focus must be on how to make Lagos affordable, and work for millions of low income families.

My banners were up for some time, and then, over a period of a week, they were taken down all the way from Ikeja to Ikoyi. We know the type of people that we are up against. We've been up against them for some time, and we know their strategy is not going to change. We are planning for the worst and hoping for the best.

#Endsars Anniversary: Police Fire Tear Gas At Opposition, Activists, Journalists
A memorial gathering at the Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos has turned chaotic, as police fired tear gas at opposition politicians, activists and journalists marking the sixth anniversary of the #EndSARS protests. What began as an effort to honour victims of the 2020 demonstrations quickly descended into confusion and confrontation.
Among those caught up in the incident was Funsho Doherty, the NDC governorship candidate, his ADC counterpart alongside other opposition figures and activists who had gathered to lay wreaths in honour of those who lost their lives during the protests.
The police action disrupted the remembrance exercise, forcing those at the scene to contend with tear gas and a tense atmosphere. The incident has renewed concerns over the right to peaceful assembly and the safety of journalists covering a commemoration that continues to carry deep significance for Nigerians.
