Bill Rodgers is the last living person to have voted in the 1963 Labour leadership election, in which Wilson was victorious and would lead the party for the next 13 years.
Rodgers voted for George Brown.
He is alleged to have said, 'Better George Brown drunk than Harold Wilson sober'.

Healeyโs had a few slips of the tongue
Not 100 per cent clear, but itโs possible he just referred to a place called โAldershitโ

Labour MPs looking a little subdued
The faces of people whose thoughts may be drifting towards lunch
โAt least theyโre still awake,โ said John Healey a few minutes ago
However, his delivery is very Book at Bedtime. One former MP in the gallery appears to be resting his eyes.
Healey is losing one member of his audience - Jennie the guide dog has got bored and is rolling around on the floor #budget
Healey proving himself a surprisingly adept performer on the Budget stage, even if his voice is a little Book at Bedtime
Unfortunate slip of the tongue from
Healey
โLast week, my colleague the energy secretary last week opposedโฆ approved!โโ
As Tory benches laugh, he says โAt least they are still awake!โ
Handled it well. #budget
Genuinely good joke from Healey:
โPredictions of gloom were about as accurate as predictions of who would be the chancellorโ
Ed Miliband throws his head back in laughter which looked genuine enough
