Bukele Launches Military Rescue for Kidnapped Salvadoran Technicians in Haiti

2026-10-22T02:44:20Z

The non-combatants, part of a UN-backed force saving lives, were kidnapped Sunday near Port-au-Prince when gangs attacked their armored vehicle. Bukele warned the captors in Haitian Creole that they face severe consequences unless all four return alive, drawing on his success dismantling gangs in El Salvador. U.S. Ambassador Mike Waltz said targeting the coalition was a gang mistake, as reports confirm the men are believed alive amid ongoing rescue efforts.

Pou chèf gang yo ak manm gang yo k ap kenbe kat konpatriyòt nou yo an otaj ann Ayiti: Mesye nou kidnape yo pa konbatan. Nou deja fini ak gang yo nan El Salvador, e nou kapab fini ak nou tou. Nou toujou gen tan pou evite sa. Remèt nou kat konpatriyòt nou yo vivan, san okenn mal, epi tout bagay ap retounen jan sa te ye anvan kidnaping lan. Desizyon an nan men nou.

NEW: El Salvador President Nayib Bukele launches military operation in Haiti, threatens to eviscerate Haitian gangs as he did to gangs in El Salvador if they don't return hostages. The statement came after four Salvadoran men were kidnapped by Haitian gangs. "Today's attack is nothing compared to what is coming if we do not get all four hostages back alive," he said. Bukele says the four Salvadoran men are aviation technicians. "They were kidnapped in a cowardly manner while returning after buying food at a market in the area. "That is why, today, we have launched a military operation to rescue them. We have a single objective: to bring our four compatriots back home alive, without any harm." Bukele then issued a warning if gang leaders harm any of the men. "I want you, the gang leaders, to understand one thing very clearly: today's attack is nothing compared to what is coming if we do not get all four hostages back alive..." "And do not take our word for empty threats. We have already finished with the gangs in El Salvador, and we can finish with you too..." "Return our four compatriots to us alive, without any harm, and everything will go back to how it was before the kidnapping."

They are aviation technicians who are part of our mission in Haiti, within the framework of an international mission. If you got kidnapped today, the British Government would never do anything like this for you. Even if the SAS wanted to, the politicians would just dither in press conferences for years whilst you rot. Good luck to you, Bukele.

Haitian gangs just made a catastrophic mistake by kidnapping four Salvadoran aviation technicians. President Nayib Bukele posted Wednesday in Haitian Creole directly to the gang leaders, and the restraint in his language only makes the threat clearer. The four men are not combatants. They are technical personnel on a UN-backed Gang Suppression Force mission whose job is medical evacuations and saving lives. They were ambushed while returning from buying food. Bukele said a military operation is already underway with one objective: bring the four home alive and unharmed. He added that today’s action is nothing compared with what follows if they are not released, and that El Salvador has already finished with its own gangs and can finish with Haiti’s. The gangs have already lost. Either they return the hostages immediately or the consequences get worse. Bukele has a clear record of dismantling gangs at home. He’s not going to leave his people behind. Haiti remains the country the Clintons raised hundreds of millions for after the earthquake and left in ruins. Democrats still push open immigration from a place where gangs have been documented eating people. Remember that when Democrats talk about “compassion” this fall. The four Salvadorans have the right man in charge. Bukele will not fail them.

🇭🇹🇸🇻 Haiti's gangs may have just made the WORST and LAST mistake of their lives Four Salvadoran aviation technicians disappeared after armed gangs ambushed their vehicle near Port-au-Prince. Bukele emphasized that they were there to perform medical evacuations and SAVE LIVES. Now, a military rescue operation is ongoing and Bukele delivered a BRUTAL ultimatum to the gang leaders, directly in Haitian Creole. “We have already finished with the gangs in El Salvador, and we can finish with yours too.” Writer: Sol

🚨 BOOM: Nayib Bukele just launched a military operation in Haiti and put the gangs ON NOTICE. Haitian gangs ambushed four Salvadoran aviation technicians on Sunday, and they've been holding them since. Their mission was medical evacuations. They were there to save lives, not to fight. Bukele's message to the gang leaders was "Today's attack is nothing compared to what is coming if we do not get all four hostages back alive." Then he told them "We have already finished with the gangs in El Salvador, and we can finish with you too." That's what a leader sounds like. Bring them HOME.

I think Haiti would and should welcome Bukele to conquer the island and make it an outpost for El Salvador. Finally, someone would get rid of the gangs and everyone would see how useless left wing NGO’s "fixing Haiti" have been for the psst few decades. Bukele would have it running well within 5-6 years. Potentially the biggest mistake Haitian gangs have made in a long time. I dont really care what international bodies think about it. Restore sanity and break the evil on the island.
