Great to see our member Haynes International, Inc, based in Kokomo, has broken ground on a $172 million expansion designed to bolster the company’s ability to supply products to customers in the aerospace and industrial gas turbine markets.
It's building two new facilities — a vacuum induction melting facility and SMS rotary forge — and adding more than 100 new jobs as a result.
COO Marty Losch told @IIB that the new facilities will allow Haynes to make high-performance alloy products that it historically hasn’t been able to do before.

@SEL_News has announced plans to expand its manufacturing operations at its West Lafayette location. The $25 million project will allow it to complete more manufacturing processes and will create about 130 jobs at the location.

MUSIC TO OUR EARS! Fort Wayne-based music and audio equipment retailer @SweetwaterSound held a topping out ceremony for its distribution center expansion Tuesday. The $36.7 million project will add nearly 170,000 square feet of warehouse space, bringing the total size of the facility to around 14 acres.

Redwire's newly opened facility in Georgetown, Indiana is advancing space research and manufacturing. 🛰️
