man sekiro is so good. often times people critique AAA games for resorting to not really utilizing the medium for their stories to hit the emotional beats and i find a lot of that very shallow but sekiro is one of those games that makes me feel shit in very specific gamey ways

Old enough to have lived through multiple times Dems had unified control, yet neoliberal policies dominate. I doubt the "blue wave" will change much, but the fight to organize/educate is 24/7, squandering potential comrades for voting is a terrible strategy.

If you are a communist, then you take the actual energy people have for whatever small victory and you relate it to a path forward for further political invention. The energy they have for the current moment has to be extended, not extinguished with "realism".
