Today is the official launch day for my new album A Simple Plan. Check it out: impossiblemule.bandcamp.com/…
New one from BONIEK. If I were to answer Woody Woodpecker you’d all think I was weird. So for now I’ll keep quiet about my cartoon crush.

Just a simple blues band playing to a smattering of applause. m.youtube.com/watch?v=wuSNwD…
A very wordy way of saying they’re fucked.
Michael Carrick will doubtless pay the price with his job for this deserved defeat to an excellent Bournemouth side and another lifeless display by his Manchester United team. Some of his selections and tactics have been questionable, United were again so open in the centre. But Carrick was not responsible for recruiting Youri Tielemans, who lacks physicality and mobility (and Aston Villa haven’t missed him) and Andrey Santos, a Chelsea reserve.
Carrick was not responsible for the board’s damaging failure to strengthen at centre-back and left-back. Carrick was not responsible for his main striker Benjamin Sesko being injured and the board’s failure to provide him with cover. Carrick was not responsible for the club he loves being in the grip of co-owners like the Glazers whose priorities are focused more on business than the sport. The direction from the top has been negligible, arguably negligent. No real leadership. No expertise.
Carrick may be out of his depth but many United fans sang his name during the painful demise to Bournemouth because they know he cares and they know the problems lie elsewhere. The Stretford End again sang in protest at the wretched Glazers.
Noticeable that there were few songs in support of Bruno Fernandes. He is supposed to be captain, rallying the players, Footballer of the Year, Player of the Year, not arm-waver of the year, underachieving and complaining. Yet Bruno will be at United longer than Carrick.
Carrick was praised for United finishing third last season and getting in the Champions League. But he will doubtless go partly for his own failings and mainly the failings of others. And United will be trapped in this doom loop again. And again until the core problems are addressed in the boardroom - and the Glazers sell up - and flaws in the recruitment department. #MUFC #MUNBOU
Time for some Sunday morning worship. Hands down one of the best recordings from the 196Ts. m.youtube.com/watch?v=2tZkka…

I released an instrumental album "Lost For Words". Songwriting is a very personal thing. I tend to mostly write about things that have happened or are happening in my life. If a political song turns up, so be it. But to keep churning it out is a turn off!

AI generated music is 1000x better than real music.
Today I canceled Spotify and SiriusXM because I finally tested Suno.
What sold me was the first prompt I gave it:
“My favorite artists are A Day to Remember, Bring Me The Horizon, Spiritbox, Bad Omens, and Sleep Token.
Analyze all their hits and generate a song I’m likely to love based on those artists.”
It one shots an absolute banger in 10 seconds.
I'll link the song in the next tweet for anyone curious.
Why would I ever go back to Spotify/SiriusXM when I can generate music perfectly tailored to my taste on command, for free?
Not affiliated with Suno in any way btw, it was just one of those moments where I was so impressed with AI’s capability I had to say something about it.
A while back I shared pictures of the olives growing on a tree I planted 20-did years ago. Look at these beauts. Tree is covered in them. I am officially an olive farmer.
Curried cabbage and onion for lunch. A true test of your bravery would be going on a car journey with me in a few hours time, but you’re not allowed to wind the windows down.

Fantastic book . Political thriller, loads of twists etc, superbly written, edge of seat stuff.
The irony that this statement comes from the author of political thrillers has not escaped me. Nor should it escape you. amazon.co.uk/Puppet-Nation-K…

I should have included “now” and said “the most rebellious thing an artists can do NOW is create art that celebrates life and joy.” To me it is much more radical than joining the herd creating and maintaining the politics of division. It’s Facebook’s wet dream.
“If William Burroughs had a twin and a band”, so says one of the comments. Was thinking the same. m.youtube.com/watch?v=wFK1cc…
