I ask runners why they run. 500 episodes later, that question is a business: @forthelrpod, @longrunlabs & a 35-show endurance network. Chasing 100 miles.

Someone at an industry conference asked me what I do, and I gave him a list.
Podcast. Network. Newsletter. Consulting. Investing. Fundraising.
I watched him decide whether I was very good at many things or not finishing any of them.
Here's the answer I couldn't produce that day.
Endurance sport has no centralized trade press. No research firm. No smart money. Billions of dollars move through this sport, and the people building the companies have almost none of what operators in a grown-up industry take for granted.
That gap is what I've been building into, one piece at a time. Two shows (@forthelrpod and @longrunlabs) and a 35-show network of independent creators, where I handle sponsorship and strategy so they can spend their time making the show instead of selling it. Research for brands who want to know whether a sponsorship actually worked. I just ran 2,200 prompts across five AI models to find out how endurance brands get discovered, because every brand I asked was guessing.
Angel checks and introductions to capital for founders, because there are more good founders in this sport than there is smart money.
And a room for the people solving all of this alone (@findmyhuddle).
If you're building in endurance, outdoor, or health, I want to hear about it.
If you're buying media/signing sponsorships, I'd love to share how the properties I work with can help you do so more efficiently.
If you're trying to figure out who to trust in this category, I'd love to introduce you to them.

Absolute elite weather day in Colorado. They say people come for the winters and stay for the summers, but shoulder season is pretty excellent too.

Unpopular opinion: your results with AI depend heavily on how smart you are.
ICYMI: tens of thousands of Israelis are flying home for Tuesday’s election to hopefully replace Netanyahu. Let’s hope that happens.
(In person voting only and yes Arabs can vote and no there’s no apartheid)
I have a fun "work meeting" tomorrow and by "work meeting" i mean i'm meeting two friends to run 10 miles and we'll be talking shop for ~80 minutes.
Much better than a virtual meeting during the week.
Monday on Long Run Labs: my Superpower review, after nearly 60 blood tests since 2014.
It went further than any platform I've used. It also tried to sell me $237 of add-ons, one for a test I'd already had.
Sponsored, and I kept the criticism in: longrunlabs.substack.com/p/s…
We let the conversations run long, because that's when people stop giving the polished answers.
@ForTheLRPod is the running podcast for people who want the deep stuff. If you know someone who'd get it, please share this trailer!
That's how shows like this grow.

I made this by tying Claude to @beehiiv (to review transcripts) to @RiversidedotFM to source the content itself, and then it was assembled in @descript.
Oh hey @danielcberk you might recognize one of the stars of the show!!
