Plucky little Poppi has found herself a new mentor: Wamata (who is closest to the camera). It’s an about turn for our once-spoiled girl, Wamata, who is proving a very diligent matriarch-in-the-making.
Poppi, in case you haven’t met her before, is the newest addition to our adoption programme. She was only rescued in September, after her mother, a famed Amboseli matriarch, succumbed to old age.
Her journey with us is just beginning: one that will lead her all the way back got the wild. Support Poppi by adopting her, as a gift for yourself or someone special: sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/o…

Margo is a worried girl but has alot of potential to improve quickly.
She just needs a family 🙏🏻
She’s around 5yrs old and has likely never had a good time in her life.
It’s sad it has to take so long for so many rescue dogs to find good homes.
Will you share Margo ?
Her kennel friend Tiara is off soon to live her sweet life.
Let’s share and do the same for Margo ♥️🙏🏻

A plane crashes in Florida, lives are lost, and within HOURS the blue-checkmark crowd is blaming a female pilot and screaming “DEI.”
Here's the problem: They don't understand how a two-pilot cockpit works.
As a pilot, I'm disgusted. Watch this before you embarrass yourself.

Absolutely STFU
🛩️💥BREAKING‼️
I’m on site at the “plane” crash, where locals do not believe the official story.
Official accounts (FAA, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, and ADS-B/flight-tracking data) identify the aircraft as a Learjet 60 (N722BD) that entered a steep high-speed descent before impact around 12:50 p.m.
Missile claims appear to be circulating online and among some residents, similar to past high-impact crashes where the dive and explosion looked unusual on video.
President Donald Trump just took off on Air Force One from the Palm Beach Airport. Days before the election. Timing is suspicious.
Thoughts?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The incident was a confirmed Learjet 60 (N722BD) crash after a steep uncontrolled descent, killing all 9 aboard per FAA/NTSB reports and ATC audio of crew distress calls matching loss of control.

We last saw Kilaguni in July 2025. Now 17 years old and living wild in Tsavo, he gave us a wonderful surprise this month, rocking up for breakfast at our Ithumba Reintegration Unit.
His tail, or lack thereof, gave the game away: a reminder of the terrible predator attack he survived as a baby, but only just. Orphaned, injured and alone, he was rescued by our team back in 2009. The rest is history!
How long he’ll hang about is anyone’s guess, but we were thrilled to see him looking so healthy and handsome. Welcome home, Kilaguni!
Are you an adopter of one of our wild-living orphans?

For the first time: The pilots who landed the Flydubai flight have been revealed.
They entered the cockpit after the Indian pilot, Sumit Machhar, was attacked with an axe during an attempted suicide attack.
They managed to land the Boeing in Saudi Arabia, despite part of its tail having been broken off.
Following a commendation ceremony in the UAE—where they were honored alongside Machhar—the pilots' names have been disclosed: Hanson Stephen from Fiji and Rowan Toth from South Africa.
"They acted with heroism and composure."
