Whether you’re giving a public comment or not, it’s important to be prepared when you attend a public hearing. It’s important to know the permit, including the company, their processes, and the pollutants involved.

One year ago today, at 5:14 p.m., our city was changed forever by the crash of UPS Flight 2976. The passage of time doesn’t make it easier when you have lost someone you love. Time itself does not restore a business, a livelihood, or a sense of normalcy. Survivors are still hurting. Businesses are still rebuilding. Friends and families of victims are still learning how to carry grief that may change with time, but will never fully go away. I want every person who lost a loved one, every survivor, and every person whose life was changed forever to know that, here in Louisville, you will never have to grieve alone. Not today. Not in the months or years ahead. Not ever. No matter how much time passes. Louisville will always be there for you. Louisville will always remember, together.

One of the scariest pumpkins! A well maintained car is a cleaner car. Scheduled maintenance and getting your vehicle checked out when dashboard lights appear can help you avoid a scary situation down the road. #AirQuality #pollution #health #checkenginelight #pumpkin

We're nearing the end of ozone season. But that doesn't mean our work on protecting our air stops. Keeping your car up to date, reducing idling and driving alternatives like carpooling are just a few things you can do to help protect our air. #helptheair
