Leaving Pullman for possibly the final time this season a little dejected. But as always, I still had an amazing time with my people. Pullman is worth believing in, and I trust our leadership to get this thing figured out. The only thing we can do, is continue to support !

After years of growth, college football TV ratings are down on nearly all the major networks this season. The SEC continues to dominate and the Big 12 is up, but the Big Ten and ACC have tanked. What's behind the decline? I did a deep dive on the data. Gift link below.

Genuinely stunned the Mariners went with their third straight manager with no managerial experience. Dipoto said at the outset of search he "preferred" a manager with MLB experience, but no GM in history has placed less priority on that detail, it seems

On the flip side: 5-23 from three and 23-65 overall is player execution. Lots of open looks, not killed by turnovers; just couldn't make shots. Ugh.
A lot of the discussion around WSU basketball this season will be whether or not David has a chance to be successful given the NIL limitations. Giving up open threes isn't a talent issue. It's coaching, and it's effort. Disappointing night on all fronts.

Davidson has opened up a 47-28 lead on WSU in the first few minutes of the second half. Cougs are giving up tons of open 3s -- Wildcats are 10/18 from out there. Really rough showing from the Cougars so far.

I can accept any kind of on field/ on court failure, especially when people are trying their hardest. Mistakes happen. But this level of "technical" failure and lack of communication is embarrassing. You want to be taken seriously? You aren't giving people a reason to.

Think about players' parents tuning in to watch their kids play. Visibility is one of the most important things for recruits. For fans, all I wanted to do was watch my Coug game tonight (yes, I am a sicko), and now we are into the second half with zero updates.

6-28 from the floor man, maybe it's a good thing I am not watching
Almost halfway through the half and no stream for WSU hoops. Unacceptable, to say the least.

And so it begins for WSU this season. Ronnie Harrison is not in uniform and walking with a noticeable limp. #GoCougs #Wazzu

Maybe I’m reading into it because I have a preconceived notion, but Aikman looks and sounds so done with Buck on the broadcast

I know this can be even more frustrating for Coug fans but: WSU played well enough to handily beat SDSU on Saturday. They are beating themselves right now. Up to you to determine who you want to blame those mistakes on that are costing them games

Great point and something I should have pointed out in my preview. The way David wants to play is going to induce turnovers with a lot of extra passing... if they can LIMIT TO's (not eliminate) and make up for the lost possessions in rebounding, that can be a recipe to win games
Replying to @CougCenter
There will be no surprises unless there is dramatic improvement with turnovers. It's simply the most important stat in staying competitive, particularly when your team is usually overmatched in talent.

The only thing standing between WSU and a perfect season:
11/1/97 - Before 73,644 in Tempe, #20 #ASU (led 24-0) had 2 strip-6's of Ryan Leaf (24-49-447, 3TDs, 1INT) in the final 2:55 (Mitchell Freedman; Derrick Ford in the WSU end zone), leading to a wild upset of the #10 Washington State Cougars, 44-31. Kealy: 23-36-245, 4TDs. #ForksUp
