Evening entertainment at the Woolly Jumper camp in the Easter hols was wild!

At the weekend, some of our #Explorers joined others from #Aberdeen to welcome Rover Scouts from Norway to the Granite City.
Big thanks to Jacob from Bon Accord ESU for coordinating the visit and inviting us along!

FIRST AID
We were joined by members of @auwems for scenario-based #FirstAid refreshing and learning new skills, as well as seeing some of the tools medics use... The vomit extractor gun was sick! 😉

We celebrated pancake night a little early this year with some rainbow-coloured creations! The #Explorers brought some A-game toppings including freshly whipped cream, blueberries, chocolate chips and maple syrup.

Take a look at today's @pressjournal Your Life magazine to read a quiz by our leader Eoin on all things @ScoutsAberdeen! #Scouts #SkillsForLife #Aberdeen
A huge thank you to Aberdeen North & Granite City for inviting all Aberdeen units to their #Christmas party! We got to know #Explorers from across #Aberdeen, ate a delicious meal, played a festive game of pass the parcel and danced all night long!
#Scouts #SkillsForLife
Our final unit meeting of the year had the #Explorers exchanging secret Santa gifts & Scottish country dancing!
As always, the leaders are so proud of the positive vibe, friendliness & thoughtfulness of all our young people at #Christmas and throughout the year.

We collected food & household items for @inchgarthcc Food Bank, which supports people in the areas we live in. While we're sad that so many people need to rely on services like this, we are proud to help people in our #community in a time of need.

Starting our series of #Christmas themed nights throughout December, starting with making snowflakes, nini bobble hats and tree decorations. We also drew names for our annual Secret Santa in a couple of weeks. #Scouts #Explorers #SkillsForLife
A great turnout of parents & guests to our quiz night raised much-needed funds to run our exciting programme through winter & beyond. The #Explorers & leaders want to say a big thank you to everyone who bought tickets, attended the quiz & donated to our funds & raffle. #Scouts
Last night we set up an @OfficialSYP voting booth, allowing our #Explorers to vote for their @ScoutsScotland representatives. Democracy in action!

We're back indoors for autumn and winter, beginning with a #Halloween special! Lots of games and some interesting costumes...

Be kind to each other.
Reach out to a friend you haven't spoken to in a while and check in on them.
Remember that if you're struggling, you are not alone.
Simple thoughts, but they can make a world of difference.
