Honoured to represent Leeds South West and Morley at the Garden of Remembrance in Parliament earlier this week, where I dedicated our constituency’s stake to the local heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice.
This Remembrance Sunday, I’ll be attending services across the constituency. One of those is the Tingley Remembrance Service which, until this year, was organised by the late Karen Renshaw.
Karen sadly passed away earlier this year. She has been a huge loss to our community.
You deserve better from Yorkshire Water.
The Prime Minister has set out a new direction for the water industry. In the meantime, we look forward to meeting the new Chief Executive to set out our expectations.

I met with Health Secretary Yvette Cooper today to discuss the concrete, practical steps required to regulate the funeral sector, now that the Prime Minister and the Department of Health & Social Care have committed to do so. 🧵
This is an issue I've campaigned on relentlessly and one that extends across all parties. I was pleased to be joined by @cj_dinenage MP, who has also worked very hard to get to this point.
📣 November Surgeries 📣
My first November surgery will be appointment-based at West Leeds RUFC in Wortley. Then they'll be held in Churwell, Tingley and Morley over the following weeks.
I hold my weekly surgeries across 13 different locations in the constituency, and residents from anywhere in Leeds South West and Morley are always welcome.
👶I will be off for 2 weeks for paternity leave at some point this month but my surgeries will still go ahead, with my staff leading them in my absence.

Very moving to see Morley Community Church full to the brim for their Remembrance Service yesterday.

He told us of the bravery and sacrifices made by 255 British soldiers, which included two of his close friends; Michael "Blue" Nowak and Paul Callan.
I was privileged to lay a wreath at the Two Sisters memorial on Nigel’s behalf during my visit to the Falklands in August.
