The MATBUS Paratransit app will have a new look soon! The name and logo of the app will be changing to MATBUS Flex. Current para app users can still manage their rides the same way -- the icon will just change on your phone during its next update.

Rider Info: We are planning an upcoming study that will address current Route 2 delays, as well as overall system improvements. In the meantime, we suggest taking an earlier trip when possible and checking ridematbus.com for real-time bus tracking and arrivals.

There will be no MATBUS service on Monday for the Labor Day holiday. This includes all fixed routes and MAT Paratransit. Service will resume on Tuesday.

Today is the first day that our downtown hub will be operating from a new location - 222 4th St N. All route parking locations will be marked with signage, and staff will also be available to help with transfers. ow.ly/Jjxx50ZzyQL

Due to continued structural concerns, the MATBUS downtown hub will be relocating, effective Monday 8/17. This Saturday, sales will be unavailable while tech systems are transferred, so fixed route will be FARE FREE all day. More info on our website: ow.ly/AGvg50ZztKF

UPDATE: Electrical power has been restored to the GTC. Phones are back in operation, and in-person transactions can take place once again.

Due to a power outage at the GTC, Customer Care Center and Paratransit Reservationists are currently not able to take phone calls. They are also not able to do in-person fare transactions. We apologize for any inconvenience, and will send another notice when power is restored.

In previous academic years, an extra bus has been added to Route 2 in the afternoon for 15-minute service. This extra bus has been suspended for the 2026 fall semester, so buses will arrive every 30 minutes for the entire day. matbus.com/routes/route-02

There will be no MATBUS fixed route or paratransit services on Saturday for the Independence Day holiday. All services will be running as normal on Friday.
