I’ve been seeing calls for a change in Pudgy leadership. Abstract’s shutdown was poorly handled. That criticism is warranted.
But replace him with who?
Which founder is better equipped for Pudgy? Many come with their own baggage: previous rugs, massive dilution, or questionable “extractive” mints.
Corporate leadership isn’t a guarantee either. Meta, Nike, Starbucks, and Zynga had the resources and still failed to make their Web 3 ventures stick.
The question isn’t whether he fucked up. It’s whether someone else is actually better equipped to lead a comeback.
