🗣️At the #ARLEM plenary in Tirana, @jcasteg , Vice-President of #AMB, representing @MedCities, addressed the Mediterranean’s local and regional authorities on behalf of MedCities and AMB. The event was opened by the Mayor @MajlindaBufi of @roskovec, a proud member of MedCities
🏙️A region of 500 million people needs to move from pilot projects to scaled-up action. We have the experience, the knowledge, the networks and the Pact. We now need a firm commitment from the EU institutions. #Mediterranean #ARLEM #MedCities #AMB @jcasteg

🗣️During this year's @UNEPMAPNews SC meeting, MedCities Secretary General, @AleixVillatoro , served as Rapporteur, contributing to the discussions on the implementation of the MSSD 2026-2035 and supporting the preparation of the meeting's conclusions and recommendations.
The 27th MCSD Steering Committee meeting opened in Athens, following the adoption of the MSSD 2026–2035 at #COP24Med.
🇪🇺 From @EUinmyRegion #EURegionsWeek we raised the voice of #localauthorities through presidency, @ClareLouHart ( @montpellier_ ). As #MedCoopAlliance members, we talked about #policy measures in #territory to make the Pact for the Mediterranean work in different key areas.
🌊 #MedCities participated in the creation of the @Gov4Nature Mission's 'Catalogue of Best Governance Practices'.
