A big market doesn't automatically make a great domain extension.
.si may have huge potential, but Product Hunt launch data puts it closer to .cloud and .space than .app and .ai.
I prefer fishing where there's already a deeper pool of buyers.
Today's ProductHunt Domain list 👇👇👇

Hi @DarpanMunjal!
@aoxborrow and I are working with others on an open-source domain portfolio tool on GitHub.
Would @atomHQ consider lifting the 500-domain minimum for Seller API access so smaller portfolio owners can use it too?
Thanks for considering!
Thanks @DarpanMunjal and @atomHQ for your leadership and sponsorship of @ICADomains!
The Sunday evening welcome gathering will be at at Nevada Brew Works!
I can't wait for the January membership meeting. 200 of the people in the domain industry you want to be a part of.
If you're not a member and want to join, reach out to me and I'll intro you to the Exec Dir who will help you join and attend.
I’ve been working on building a reminder system for @NotifyDomains.
So you can get reminded of when and how to continue the conversation with a potential seller. (😴 option too.)
This is revision 6. It takes time to get it right.
(This is a pre-beta feature that has not been released to customers yet.)
It's days like yesterday that I'm grateful to use managed hosting providers like @WPMUdev and @Cloudways. 🙏
Shipped a few updates to my Peloton Tread code from my wife's honey-do list.
I added a sleep screensaver inspired by The Office.
You know the episode...
Everyone stops work, waiting for it to hit the corner because they don't know what to expect.
Replying to @MichaelCyger
I bought a Peloton Tread in 2021.
I thought it was the best treadmill at the time. Then I found out the screen couldn't play a show.
I had to hang an iPad on the massive screen. Such as waste.
Until now. 🧵👇
Is .si the shortest trend?
Tony's cryptic post poses a question with no context, so I dug in.
Could be based on sales.
Could be based on registrations.
According to the data at register.si/en/ (thanks @DomainNameWire for mentioning in today's podcast), registrations are now slowing.
My take on the trend, based on your supplied records from @NameBio:
Short term: sales volume looks to be cooling a bit.
Last 7 days: 14.43 sales/day
Prior 7 days: 21.29 sales/day
Medium term: still higher than the earlier period.
Last 14 days: 17.86 sales/day
Prior 14 days: 5.14 sales/day
So I would not call it a clean downward sales trend yet.

Brief redirect flips are now filtered from your alerts by default.
A redirect that stays still notifies you.
Because that's not useful info for you to acquire the domain name.

ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, OpenClaw, and Hermes can now watch a domain in @NotifyDomains.
You approve the connection in your browser.
Expiry, auctions, and marketplace listings come back in the same chat.
You can now connect an AI assistant to @NotifyDomains.
Have it watch the name you want.
Expiry, drop catch, auctions, and marketplaces.
We're getting ready for the future of agentic monitoring.
Same name. Two spellings.
😀․ws
xn--e28h․ws
The smile is the brand. xn-- is just how the registry writes it.
@NotifyDomains watches either one.
Now you can watch xn--jalapeo-9za.com and 😀.ws.

DomBot is an open source desktop app for the domain names you own, maintained by @aoxborrow.
Names you hold sit on Active. Names you’ve sold or dropped sit on Archive.
I just added the ability to turn on/off columns you want, drag to reorder, and remember that view.

Just added a date filter for @aoxborrow's open source domain portfolio manager: DomBot.
• Sold, created, expires, or purchased, by day or by year
• This year and Last year in one click
• What you paid stays on Archive, next to what you sold it for

One prompt made this video.
One more sentence gave it a soundtrack timed to every click.
No editor. No After Effects. No stock footage.
An AI agent studied my website, wrote the animation as code, and rendered all 2,310 frames on my Mac.
Prompt, settings, and cost below.
The exact prompt. Unedited:
Research the live site and pull real branding, colors, logo, UI patterns, and claims (domain monitoring for expirations, auctions, price drops, DNS/SSL, marketplace listings; alerts via email/Slack/Telegram/webhooks; ~$24/year; founder Michael Cyger; “watchers become winners”). Use actual assets where possible; recreate clean UI mockups when direct screenshots are awkward. No fake testimonials.
Style: premium motion-graphics launch film like the best X/Twitter SaaS launches—tight typography, staggered reveals, UI callouts, feature beats, social proof, clear CTA. Treat this as a motion-design showreel. 1920×1080, 30 fps, clean easing, no stock-template look.
Implementation requirements:
1. Build a deterministic HTML/Canvas (or SVG) scene where every frame is a pure function of time t. Expose duration and a seek(t) method.
2. Write a small Node + Playwright script that screenshots every frame, then ffmpeg encodes H.264 MP4 (crf ~18, yuv420p, +faststart).
3. Render the final video yourself in the terminal. Fix any layout, timing, or text issues you see in contact sheets before the full encode.
4. Save the finished file as:
~/Websites/Notify.domains/assets/notify-domains-launch.mp4
Create the folders if needed. Confirm the file exists and report its duration and size.
Go all out on timing and hierarchy. Do not stop at source code—the deliverable is the rendered MP4 in that save path.
The only follow-up, for the music:
"that looks great, but I don't think it has any background music, does it? I would like something that corresponds to the action on screen, if possible."
The video is for @NotifyDomains.
It watches the domain names you want and tells you the moment they expire, hit auction, or drop in price.
If this was useful, repost the first post so more builders see it. 🙏
