Since 1992, the Players Choice Awards have celebrated excellence across Major League Baseball, recognizing performance, leadership, perseverance, and impact on and off the field. The awards are especially meaningful to players, because they’re determined through a vote of their peers. Congratulations to the 2026 Players Choice Awards winners! mlbplayers.com/winners/2026

The evening before one of Drew Rasmussen's biggest starts, he took the time to personally invite Caddie to be his guest at Game 5 of the World Series. Drew and his wife, Stevie, first met Caddie when they strutted their stuff together in the Rays on the Runway event, benefitting the Children's Dream Fund. At the game, Stevie brought Caddie a Rasmussen jersey to wear, and Caddie got to watch Drew live out his dream, the way she lived out hers when they walked the runway together! Thank you, Drew and Stevie, for giving Caddie the experience of a lifetime! @RaysBaseball

The Curt Flood Award commemorates Flood’s historic judicial fight against baseball’s reserve system, which paved the way for the advent of free agency in 1975. This year’s winner is David Cone, a former Cy Young winner and 5x All-Star! Cone was an active presence in MLBPA leadership over 17 seasons with the Royals, Mets, Yankees, and two other clubs. He played a pivotal role in CBA negotiations as an American League player representative in 1994-95, when players went on strike for a record-setting 232 days to fend off a salary cap. Congratulations to David Cone on this prestigious award! @dcone36
