On this DAY in 1970 (8 November), The Goodies made their television debut on BBC2.
Tim Brooke-Taylor, Graeme Garden and Bill Oddie played exaggerated versions of themselves as a trio running a Cricklewood agency that would do “anything, anytime, anywhere.”

Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy was released in 1991 by Hi-Tec Software Ltd. The premise of the game is similar to the Hanna-Barbera short “Good Mousekeeping”.
I was a massive Disney fan back in the day, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching Hanna-Barbera toons after school and Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy was my favourite segment in the The Quick Draw McGraw Show.
Who remembers these Hi-Tec C64 games?

Banshee – Commodore Amiga (1994)
When the Amiga wanted to prove it could still deliver arcade-quality action, Banshee came out guns blazing!
Fast scrolling, enemy waves, and bullets flying everywhere. Blink at the wrong moment, and you could be in trouble!
Amiga Format magazine loved it and scored 90% "This is a real shoot-em-ups' shoot-em-up. Banshee tells it like it is: you kill things. Full stop. Just boot up and shoot up. What more could you ask for?"
Did you play Banshee?
My work computer had technical issues.
IT support came over to my desk and said he needed password to access my account.
“It’s ‘MickeyDonaldBatmanSupermanHulkLondon'” I replied.
“A bit unusual for a password, how did you come up with it?” the support dude asked me.
I said, “Because the computer said the password has to be at least 5 characters and have a capital.”
