I'm running for re-election alongside a vast coalition of local leaders and working families.
Solidarity is how we will make housing affordable, fully fund our schools, and address the climate crisis.
Solidarity is how we recognize our shared stake in achieving a better world.
For the first time in over 30 years, we can flip the Pennsylvania State Senate and win the future working families deserve.
These excellent candidates are supported by @JoshShapiroPA, @AustinDavisPA, and Democrats across the Commonwealth.
Tomorrow is the day! Please go out and vote for them. Polls will be open from 7am-8pm. Find your polling place at vote.pa.
Spent a beautiful fall Sunday in the Lehigh Valley knocking doors for my (hopefully!) soon-to-be colleagues Mark Pinsley and Rachel Cuevas.
Huge thank you to @PAWorkFamilies, @MakeRoadActPA and One Pennsylvania for convening us.

We’ve reached the desperate phase of the campaign cycle. How embarrassing sitting Republican legislator in Montgomery County would send this racist mailer and the State GOP would spend the money to mail it.
If Rep. Milou Mackenzie ever again tries to join us at an official event in Montgomery County, I will make certain everyone publicly denounces this.
Thankfully, that’s only for the next few weeks because our next state representative will be Meriam Sabih, someone who will actually advocate for the interests of all residents, and not work as a special interest crony.

This racist nonsense is par for the course with the Mackenzie family.
Looking forward to firing them both on Tuesday.

.@PAHouseGOP - desperate, xenophobic , and racist.
@PAGOP, I wonder whether your candidates in Bucks County, Cumberland County & Allegheny County with large South Asian populations will comment or condemn. Also @GarrityForPA?

“We’re losing, guys! What do we do?”
“Have we tried racism yet?”
CC @PAGOP
Like so much from Pennsylvania Republicans, this is xenophobic, racist, and stupid. One of the "radical" tracks on this playlist ("Mehndi ni mehndi") is a classic wedding song.
Here's a version of Asha Bhosle singing this "radical" tune:

Meriam Sabih, Pennsylvania House District 131
Meriam is a journalist and community organizer running for Pennsylvania House District 131 against Republican incumbent Milou Mackenzie.
Meriam stands for fair funding for public schools, protecting reproductive freedom, lowering prescription drug costs, and good jobs that don’t cost Lehigh Valley its parks and farmland.
Democrats hold the Pennsylvania House by just three seats. Every district counts this election.
4 days until election day. Make your plan to vote.

NEW AD: For years, I fought in Harrisburg to get first responders mental health care.
Ryan Mackenzie kept kicking the can down the road, looked me in the eye, and said we signed up for the job and should be able to handle the toll it takes.
But we won anyway.

Watch @NikilSaval break down a massive list of 400+ bills that @PaHouseDems passed (with one seat majority and mostly bipartisan) but Senate Republicans blocked.
I think a lot of PA folks and press aren’t fully appreciating what a Dem trifecta could mean

We have no more session days scheduled, and the @PASenateGOP walked away from a deal we had made with the Governor and the House to legalize skill games and use the revenue for transit.
Republican inaction hurts small businesses, veterans clubs AND our transportation system.
Had an awesome time taking SEPTA out to Montco to canvass for @ChrisThomasPA.
Chris will help us achieve a Democratic trifecta that fully funds transit, raises the minimum wage, and delivers affordable housing.
Sign up to volunteer. Support our candidates. Let’s win this!
Beautiful day to knock doors in Elizabethtown (and get there by bike and train) for @MaloneForSenate! Voters are tired of corruption and high costs, and want someone like James who will work to address it.
