Worldwide, an estimated 105,000 people have been diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. Following Pope Leo XIV’s surgery and diagnosis, University President Father Robert Dowd asks all members of the Notre Dame family to pray for the Holy Father’s full recovery and return to good health. Cancer touches nearly all of our lives, whether in our own health journeys or those of people we love and hold dear. Through the intercession of our Patroness, Mary, we pray that Pope Leo and all those who undergo medical treatment for cancer and other health challenges experience the Lord's closeness and healing.
