Some businesses assume sponsorship ends once the check is written. It doesn’t. At NVHS, partnership means follow-through, clear communication, coordinated event planning, recognition timelines, and ongoing touchpoints so you always know where things stand and how your support is making an impact. When businesses feel informed and aligned, confidence grows, and so does community impact. If you’re exploring a partnership built on transparency and coordination, review our 2026 Event Sponsorship Guide: nvhs.org/2026-nvhs-event-spo… #NVHS #CorporatePartnership #CommunityImpact #SupportOurVets #BusinessLeadership

Stable housing is an important part of helping veterans move forward, but housing needs often involve more than securing a place to live. NVHS provides housing-focused assistance, case management, basic-needs support, and connections to community resources that can help veterans address barriers and work toward greater housing stability. Programs such as HUD-VASH can also provide eligible veterans with housing assistance and supportive services. NVHS does not administer HUD-VASH or determine who receives a voucher. Our role is to connect veterans with the programs, resources, and support available to them. 🍿 The Power of Community Support Pizza, popcorn, and a movie night gave veterans in NVHS’s transitional housing programs a chance to relax, connect, and enjoy time together. This Creative Therapy event, part of NVHS’s PTSA program, highlights how support can extend beyond housing. Creating opportunities for connection, community, and positive experiences can be an important part of a veteran’s transition toward independent living. Thank you to the people who help make moments like this possible. ❤️ Want to support NVHS’s housing programs and the veterans we serve? 🌎 World Homeless Day Homelessness can happen for many reasons, including financial hardship, rising housing costs, health challenges, trauma, and gaps in available support. On World Homeless Day, we’re recognizing the people experiencing homelessness and the organizations working to connect them with resources, housing, and long-term support. In our community, NVHS works specifically with veterans facing homelessness and housing instability. Supporting local programs like ours helps ensure veterans have access to the resources and assistance they need. Learn more about how you can support our mission: nvhs.org

The wounds of service aren’t always visible. Post-traumatic stress, anxiety, and depression can make veterans feel isolated even in a room full of people. On World Mental Health Day, we want every veteran in Central Florida to know: reaching out for support is a sign of strength, not weakness. Through peer connection, PTSA awareness, and community resources, NVHS works to bridge the gap between crisis and long-term well-being. If you or a veteran you care about is struggling, immediate help is within reach: Veterans Crisis Line: Dial 988 (Press 1) or text 838255. Recovery is possible, and support can make a difference. 💙 September is National Recovery Month, a time to celebrate people in recovery, recognize the work of those receiving treatment, and help reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and substance use disorders. For veterans experiencing homelessness or housing instability, recovery and stability can be connected to having access to supportive services, community resources, and people who continue to show up along the way. While housing is not the focus of National Recovery Month, stable housing and supportive connections can be important parts of a veteran’s overall path forward. This month, we’re encouraging our community to learn more, challenge stigma, and recognize that asking for help is a sign of strength. Thanking a veteran does not have to be complicated. Thoughtful giving makes a tangible difference. A veteran living outside or in unstable housing may need hygiene items, non-perishable food, weather-appropriate gear, or other basic supplies that make daily survival a little more manageable. Before you drop off items, check NVHS’s current essential needs list. Ensure your generosity goes directly toward what veterans in Brevard County can use right now. Sometimes, supporting a veteran starts with helping lighten the challenges they’re carrying. During Suicide Prevention Month, we’re reminded that housing instability can add significant stress to a veteran’s life. When someone is worried about losing their home or keeping up with rent. Through NVHS’s Homelessness Prevention Program, veterans may receive help with past-due rent, guidance through housing challenges, and connections to resources that can help them remain housed. Your support helps NVHS reach veterans before a housing crisis becomes homelessness.
