[HAPPENING NOW] SASSA Gauteng Service Delivery Activations SASSA Gauteng is today live at Batho Pele Community Development Centre, Poortjie and Palm Ridge Sports Ground Ext 10, New RDP Section, bringing services closer to the community. Through these activations, we are actively engaging beneficiaries, educating the community about SASSA services and assisting with enquiries on the ground. Services rendered on site include social grants enquiries, SRD R370 enquiries and applications, and general SASSA information. We are joined by other stakeholders including the Department of Social Development, Banking institutions and other government departments rendering various services on site. [HAPPENING TODAY] Mitchells Plain Service Delivery Outreach The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is today hosting a Service Delivery Outreach Initiative in Mitchells Plain, bringing essential social assistance services closer to the community. The outreach aims to assist beneficiaries and members of the public with grant-related enquiries, applications, reviews, and general support, ensuring greater access to SASSA services. The community of Kariega in KwaNobuhle, Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipality, is experiencing the impact of SASSA’s ongoing efforts to combat poverty and improve access to social security services. Joined by various government departments and banking institutions, SASSA is bringing essential services directly to the community, saving residents the time, cost and inconvenience of travelling to neighbouring towns to access services that are not readily available in their area. With limited government service facilities in the area, the outreach presented a much-needed opportunity for residents to access a range of services under one roof. The community turned out in large numbers, embracing the opportunity and making full use of the services on offer. Through initiatives such as these, SASSA continues to demonstrate its commitment to bringing government services closer to the people and ensuring that no community is left behind.

SASSA TAKES SERVICES CLOSER TO THE PEOPLE IN MOTHIBISTAD   SASSA in the Northern Cape today conducted a service delivery activation at the Thabo Moorosi Multi-Purpose Centre in Mothibistad, Kuruman, as part of its ongoing efforts to bring services closer to communities.   The activation provided an opportunity for community members to access assistance with social grant-related enquiries, Social Grants Reviews, COVID-19 SRD R370 grant enquiries and other SASSA services.   Through these outreach initiatives, SASSA remains committed to improving access to services, promoting awareness and ensuring that eligible beneficiaries receive the support they need. #SASSAOutreach #SASSACARES #SASSA20

SASSA KwaZulu-Natal conducting a service delivery activation at Peace Initiative Hall in Ixopo, where over 400 community members have gathered to access a wide range of essential government services. The activation formed part of SASSA’s ongoing commitment to bringing services closer to communities, improving accessibility and reducing the financial burden of travelling long distances to access government assistance.
