Remembering Mac Dre, 22 years after his death. I put a lot into this investigation into his murder, and I’m sharing it again today in his memory. Thizz in Peace to the Furly Ghost. powmag.net/p/who-killed-mac-…

They should put “Kiss From A Rose” on THE BATMAN PART II soundtrack.

being in your 30s is realizing that the 18 year old version of you was someone worth admiring, not just someone you needed to outgrow.

how many star guards in the history of the league have been as plug and play as Kyrie Irving? it’s an incredibly small list if there’s even a list at all this dude has played next to so many great players and so many different types of players and his game just fits seamlessly every time one of one

Exactly Sam. You get it. It’s been proven so many times. People can come play with him and be themselves and he can just jump in to take over whenever.
Kyrie’s superpower is going to be recognized in the future as having the best, most scalable game for being a No. 2 star on truly great teams of this era. Yeah, he can be the guy on great teams himself. But few stars truly elevate other stars’ games in the way he does.

Mavericks star Kyrie Irving on Zaccharie Risacher’s play this season: “I can’t necessarily use the word ‘surprised’ like everyone else in terms of his effort and what he’s been able to do. He’s right on track in terms of being a young player in this league and establishing himself and really proving himself and it’s tough being a No. 1 pick…The selfless approach that he’s taken has been very mature of him…Right now, in his role, he’s a superstar in it…He’s the fastest player on the court dang near every single game. It’s beautiful to watch somebody like that just like a gazelle going up and down the court…”

Cooper Flagg I’m betting is already a top 10 player. He was a 21/5/5 guy on decent efficiency last year. Year two is usually where the transcendent guys start popping. LeBron and KD. CP3. He’s at minimum a 26/6/6 2 guy on good efficiency and good defense right now. Thats a top 12
Replying to @KevinOConnor
Coop nice but he ain’t top 10. We gotta stop being prisoners of the moment. It hasn’t even been 10 games yet.

Kobe today I would say would be the second most athletic shooting guard. 1999-2003 Kobe would be the second most athletic 2 guard IMO
Afro and low fade Kobe has an insane dunk reel

the nba is filled with guys who can sprint and power jump, guys that can slide their feet well laterally and have a quick first step, and have some bounce. But Kobe was quick af, flexible af, bouncy af, strong af. Stamina was crazy. Could play through pain. *Elite* athlete

like kobe would just be standing still, someone would throw an alley oop, and he'd take one step, do a 180, catch the ball and slam that shit. His spatial awareness and coordination and bounce were crazy. Jaylen Brown and Amen Thompson not doing that shit

It’s almost staring to fade for me. What I really remember is that it mostly came down to help or him I especially beating himself back then. He was always the best player between 2007 and 2020
LeBron has been playing so long..some ppl starting to forget his PRIME 😭😭
