Integrity.
Even if it was hacked, it is amazing to see a business run with this kind of integrity.
I wish Binance the best.
Bitcoin's whitepaper is on tens of thousands of full nodes.
Likewise, the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, Bill of Rights, Bible, historically significant photography and art are forever embedded on the largest and most secure computer network.
Bitcoin enables sound money. With Ordinals, it also allows sound media.
Bitcoin's whitepaper is hosted on thousands of web sites, but it's also stored on tens of thousands of full nodes since the whitepaper is embedded in the blockchain! If you run a Bitcoin Core node on Linux, you can extract it with this command: teapawt.org/lopp/status/1352896865…
And you can use SI to help you effectively create an emergency plan if (thing) goes down.
@rocktoshi21 has a great starting list here.
Is there fire beyond the smoke?
Someone has created a vulnerable PHP website, loaded it with a Bitcoin wallet, and challenged the Internet to hack into it and they can keep the Bitcoin. It has a running timer to show if the PHP exploitability was over-hyped. stealmybitcoin.com/

BITCOIN CORE CHANGES SECURITY POLICY AS AI MAKES VULNERABILITIES EASIER TO DISCOVER
Bitcoin Core developers have changed how security vulnerabilities are handled, acknowledging that AI tools are making certain software flaws significantly easier to discover.
The change, merged Thursday, follows an increase in reports of vulnerabilities that can be identified or rediscovered with minimal effort, including through simple prompts to large language models.
Under the revised policy, vulnerabilities classified as easily discoverable will receive expedited fixes across all maintained Bitcoin Core versions, with public security advisories accompanying the updates.
Previously, some vulnerabilities remained under disclosure embargo for approximately a year to give node operators time to upgrade.
Developer Antoine Poinsot argues that prolonged secrecy offers little protection when AI can independently rediscover the same vulnerabilities.
The policy change does not announce a new exploit or compromise of Bitcoin.
Human-brain-powered data centers.
What could go wrong?
Replying to @WeimarWillhelm
Yes, largely true. Cortical Labs' CL1 systems use stem-cell-derived human neurons on electrode arrays, kept alive in sealed life-support units with nutrient media (sugar/salts) refreshed every few days. Biological data centers in Melbourne and Singapore now run racks of them. They've controlled Doom via electrical signals. No evidence of consciousness—just adaptive neural activity.
BREAKING: MAN WHO SOLD ALL HIS BITCOIN YEARS AGO SAYS BITCOIN WILL GO TO ZERO.
CHAMATH SAYS BITCOIN WILL EVENTUALLY BE HACKED AND GO TO ZERO
Speaking on the Moonshots podcast, billionaire investor Chamath Palihapitiya warned that advances in AI could eventually break Bitcoin’s cryptography.
He argues that the community is too divided to coordinate a transition to quantum-resistant security.
“I just think it’s capped, and then I think eventually it gets hacked, and then it goes to zero.”
Quantum may create a supply increase of 30% or so.
This leads to infinite gold.
Diamonds 2.0.
Last month, we demonstrated high-rate alchemy: turning mercury into real, stable gold, beating CERN’s record by a factor of 10.
Last week, we enriched isotopes in the world’s most powerful plasma centrifuge, beating the Soviet record that stood for 40 years.
Now, we’re building a fusion reactor in San Francisco to achieve record power density.
the rest of the internet is having a bitcoin moment righ tnow
