Oct at Prodigy.Fi: Oct 1, tokenized stocks went live, starting with $NVDAX, @nvidia. Oct 22, tokenized gold joined, with $XAUT, @tethergold. both now live on @ethereum. a month ago, every vault was crypto. now one of them is a chip company and another is an ounce of gold. with more to come. app.prodigy.fi/earn

dollar-cost averaging buys every week, whatever the price. a buy-low only buys at the price you picked, and pays you a fixed rate while it waits. the trade-off: if price settles above your level at expiry, you don’t buy at all. you keep the USDC and the yield. app.prodigy.fi/earn

a quick reminder for everyone using prodigyfi: we have no exposure to binance. every vault deposit is fully backed and non-custodial, held in its own contract on-chain, not by us or any exchange.

Binance just got hacked for $6.3B. Here's what happened Last night ~$6.3B left Binance's hot wallets. It's the largest hack in crypto history, and early analysis points to North Korea's Lazarus group. How it happened Binance's early findings point to one engineer's compromised laptop. From there, the attacker appears to have got Binance's own signing systems to sign for them. On Ethereum, that meant an EIP-7702 authorization: a signed permission that let a Binance hot wallet hand control of itself to the attacker's contract. Three minutes later, it was swept. On other chains, the wallets simply signed the transfers out. Binance says no private key was stolen. No blockchain was broken. Ethereum did exactly what it was told. The attacker didn't need to break anything. They just needed Binance's systems to say yes. The response Hundreds of people worked through the night. Binance paused withdrawals, cut off access, and brought in law enforcement. Tether and Circle froze ~$2.4B in stablecoins within hours. Aave froze its markets when the attacker tried to borrow against stolen USDT. ~$3B is frozen so far, and Binance says SAFU plus its own funds will cover every user. That's the industry at its best, and credit where it's due. The people If you have funds on Binance right now, you're probably not reading post-mortems. You're waiting. Withdrawals should be back within ~48 hours, but not being able to touch your own money is stressful, even when someone promises it's fine. The lesson This isn't a story about a careless exchange. Binance spends a fortune on security, and one of the most capable state hacking groups in the world still found a way in. That's the point. When one company holds everyone's money, it only takes one way in. DeFi works differently. On Prodigy, your deposit goes into a smart contract, not a company wallet. Vaults are fully collateralized onchain, so your yield is already locked in the contract, not a line on someone's balance sheet. There's no employee laptop that can sign your funds out. DeFi has its own risks. Smart contract bugs are real, and this year has had painful exploits. That's why our contracts are audited by Halborn, Pashov and Sherlock, and anyone can read them. You can check the risk yourself. Custody isn't good or bad. It's a choice. Make it on purpose. To everyone waiting on Binance this week: hope you're made whole fast. 🫡

if $84,000 is where you’d take some BTC off the table, this vault on @base pays $914.68 on 1 cbBTC to wait there until november 27. that’s 3.1% above today’s price. finish above $84,000 and it sells at your number. finish below and the BTC stays yours, yield included. app.prodigy.fi/base/earnpro/…

the fed held at 3.75% to 4%, but two of the twelve voters wanted a hike. one of them had never dissented before, not once since joining in 2022. and from 2027, one of the fed’s eight meetings a year won’t vote on rates at all.
BREAKING: 🇺🇸 Federal Reserve leaves interest rates unchanged, remains at 3.75% - 4.00%.

Same night. Same AI spending. Opposite verdicts. Microsoft: $18.6B free cash flow → stock up ~4%. Alphabet: −$9.1B free cash flow → stock down ~10%. Neither is cutting. Alphabet spent $51B last quarter and says 2027 will be higher. Microsoft guided $50B+ next quarter. So what does it mean for Nvidia? The orders look fine. Between them, those two spent ~$96B last quarter, and a big share of it ends up as Nvidia revenue. What changed is the mood. The market just showed it will punish AI spending paid for with borrowed money. If that pressure makes big tech trim 2027 plans, that's the real bear case. Nvidia reports mid-November. The chart says it's a decision point. NVDA ~$213 is sitting right on the floor of its range since late July. Below: $208–210, where it bottomed in September. Above: $217 (9-day average), then $220, its busiest price since July. And uncertainty has a price. Traders are paying up for NVDA options right now. On Prodigy, a sell-high ~3% above NVDA pays 16% APY. The same distance on BTC pays 10%, because BTC volatility is at its lowest since 2023. When the market is nervous, whoever sells the insurance gets paid. That's what a vault is. I don't know which way NVDA breaks. I don't have to. Buy low at $206, Nov 6 expiry: 17% APY. If the AI scare spreads, I own NVDA at ~$205 effective. Sell high at $216, Nov 6 expiry: 35% APY. If it bounces, I sell at ~$217.65 effective, just under the $220 wall. Both settle before Nvidia reports. Is AI capex still bullish for NVDA, or is the market starting to flinch? prodigy.fi

LPs, perps and vaults aren’t interchangeable. an LP provides trading liquidity. a perp adjusts directional exposure. a vault commits to a price. in two of them, the position changes under you. in a vault, it doesn’t until expiry. app.prodigy.fi/earn

FOMC Today -- and our tokenized stock vaults are printing 29% on your NVDAx to sell at $222. if it hits you derisk If it doesn't you've earned more NVDAx prodigy.fi. .
The Fed decides rates tomorrow. Everyone's asking "hold or hike?" Wrong question. The real one: is the Fed fighting inflation, or fighting oil? September CPI: 3.7% headline. Core: 2.6%. That 1.1-point gap is mostly energy, up 20% in a year. Gasoline alone was over half of September's increase. Strip out oil and the Fed isn't far from target. So the December hike markets are pricing would be a hike into a supply shock. Rate hikes don't pump more oil. They just slow everything else. The last major central bank to try it: the ECB, July 2008. It hiked with oil near $145. Within three months it was cutting. Now look at bonds. The 10-year fell from above 5.3% to ~4.99% this month, with hikes still priced. The bond market is leaning toward slowdown, not inflation. And Brent just slipped under $115 on Iran talks. If Hormuz reopens, the case for Dhikedecember goes with it. Tomorrow I'm listening for one word from Warsh: "core" or "headline." Core = he looks through oil. Risk breathes. Headline = he's chasing oil. December is live, and BTC at $80K isn't priced for that.

a dividend is a decision, not a setting. a board declares it, and the same board can cut it, raise it or skip it. nvidia’s is a cent a share each quarter. a vault on NVDAx pays a rate agreed the day you deposit. nobody votes on it after. app.prodigy.fi/earn

Either way, I'm not guessing the press conference. Our 2 day vaults: 9.50% to buy BTC at $77,500 if Warsh spooks the market. 11% to sell above $81,000 if he doesn't. Fixed at deposit, settled at expiry. Prodigy.fi

53.7% then. 11.6% now, per CME FedWatch. the meeting lands six days before the midterms. the fed has hiked that close to an election once since 1990, in november 2022.
rate hike odds for october 28 went from 22.1% to 53.7% in a day. CPI came in at 3.7%. gasoline rose 9.1% in september and made up more than half the monthly increase. BTC lost $82,000.

10 ounces of tokenized gold, 14 days, a price you’d sell at. $XAUT sell-high linked at $4,080, 1.1% above spot. $187.27 in USDC if it sells, or 0.0459 XAUT if it doesn’t. settle at or above $4,080 on Nov 6 and your gold sells there. below it, you keep the gold and the yield. mainnet-ethereum.prodigy.fi/…
