Once at the Pro Bowl a group of us wanted to get into a popular restaurant. No way, they said. Too busy and overbooked. An assistant who worked for June at Hawaii called back and asked to make a reservation for June Jones. No prob. Seven of us were seated. The owner, GM and chef came out wanting to meet Coach Jones. June was never coming cause he had something else to do. When the owner started to get impatient waiting for Coach Jones, June’s assistant said he just got a call from June saying he couldn’t make it cause a 5-Star QB from LA was coming a day early for a visit. That ruse worked to perfection. I pulled that off several times in Hawaii, making a reservation under June’s name and then apologizing for him having to pick up a hotshot recruit. Worked ever time. June was so popular in Hawaii.
North Texas is 6-2 and has scored 35+ against everyone except defending champs Indiana. Really solid team!
FAU recovered a North Texas fumble late in 4Q down 3, but it went back to UNT on a facemask penalty. Mean Green now up 10, brutal.
South Carolina State dominates Morgan State, in strong position to head back to the Celebration Bowl.

LEFT. NO. DOUBT.
51 on the board. A statement in Baltimore. The Bulldogs take down Morgan State 51–10 at Hughes Stadium and bring the W back to Orangeburg!
