Today at the Region 10 Content Accessibility Symposium, attendees are exploring the building blocks of accessible content and learning practical ways to make digital materials more inclusive for every student and family.
The goal is simple: make sure every student has a fair opportunity to access the content they need to learn and participate.

Behind every great reader is a librarian who believed the right book could change everything. Last Friday, we celebrated exactly that.
School librarians and paraprofessionals from across the region traded their circulation desks for a day of learning, swapping ideas on everything from literacy strategies to library management, tech integration, and the art of making a library feel like home for every student who walks in.
But the real magic happened in between sessions, in the conversations, the "have you tried this?" moments, and the shared reminder that this work matters more than test scores can measure.
We know Andy Stauffer as our Assistant Director of Communications & Marketing, a trusted colleague of more than a decade, and a valued member of the Region 10 family.
But today, Andy is sharing a deeply personal chapter of his life that few of us have heard firsthand. On September 11, 2001, he was working for Morgan Stanley in the South Tower of the World Trade Center when the unthinkable happened.
This is Andy’s story of survival and resilience, and a reflection on the moments, people, and memories that remain with him 25 years later.

More than 800 educators filled the Summer Literacy Institute, not simply to talk about reading, but to better understand what can stand between a learner and the words on the page.
Across sessions on dyslexia, executive function, assessment, emergent bilingual learners, and reading disabilities, every conversation pointed toward the same possibility: when educators see the learner more clearly, they can help the learner see what’s possible for themselves.
