I had the pleasure of meeting with @AFGENational Local 1260 in my Santa Ana Office! I’m proud to stand with our TSA workers. I look forward to continuing to work with my colleagues in Washington to protect the rights of our TSA employees in California and across the nation.
Today we honor National Immigrants Day, a day to celebrate the many contributions immigrant communities have made to strengthen our country, and honor the dreams of immigrants whose hard work and resilience continue to shape our communities.
At a time when our immigrants are being attacked and facing hostility, I remain committed to fighting for their rights and dignity. Our nation is richer, stronger, and more diverse because of our immigrant community. Let us never forget that.

Good news from Washington! The Trump Administration has abandoned an appeal that sought to bar non-profit and government employees specializing in immigration and civil rights from obtaining student loan forgiveness.
Clearly, this is a win for America’s public servants, and another loss for this President.

Our veterans put their lives on the line to defend us, and too many come carrying invisible wounds that we can’t always see.
That’s why I introduced the Vets and Pets Act, establishing a VA grant program to improve veteran mental and physical health by making it easier to welcome our furry friends into their lives 🐾
I am proud to host a Citizenship Clinic to help our families, loved ones, and neighbors cut through the red tape as they apply to become citizens. If this is something that could benefit you or someone you know, please don’t hesitate to reach out to my Santa Ana office at (714) 559-6190 for registration details.
Today, I led my colleagues in a letter to the Trump administration demanding answers on the wrongful detentions and constitutional violations of U.S. citizens by DHS federal agents.
Rogue ICE operations have terrorized our streets for far too long. Our communities deserve answers, and I’m proud to be leading the effort in delivering transparency. It’s what we deserve.
Orange County small businesses never fail to impress! I’m proud to share that Amara Restaurant in Anaheim and Sender One Climbing in Santa Ana have been recognized as part of America’s top 100 small businesses.
Congratulations to these community champions on this well-earned accomplishment! uschamber.com/co/co-100
Folks, today is the last day to register to vote online in California!

Every child deserves a safe, supportive place to learn and grow, and every parent deserves peace of mind while they work.
The Bright Beginnings Act helps childcare providers get the tools they need to welcome children with developmental disabilities, and helps families stay in the workforce without sacrificing their child's care.
Rep. Lou Correa retweeted
What is happening right now to unaccompanied migrant children is heartbreaking and unacceptable. No child should ever have to sit in a courtroom alone, facing deportation without someone truly fighting in their corner.
I'm proud to stand with @RepLouCorrea and @RMIAN_org in demanding immediate answers and accountability from this admin.
How we treat the most vulnerable reflects who we are as a nation. We must hold the Trump Administration up to that very basic standard.
