I find this to be sort of bleak in the context of Anthropic's stated goal of "Utopia ruled over by God in a box".
Neurotech offers one of the only real and substantial paths to continued human oversight. Seeing Dario and Daniella essentially scoff at the idea bodes very poorly for the likelihood that they pivot away from a human zoo and into human-machine coevolution.

I looked up everything I could publicly on what happened to those kidnappers when they got arrested. The very large majority of them did not go to jail and are now walking around freely.
In the midst of all of this, there is now a new law that forces you to declare your self-custodial wallets or risk 10k fine / year if you dont.
And if you want to leave france, you will now also have to pay an exit tax on your crypto, forcing you to sell.

The NSA is telling American companies to take production systems offline. The AI-era of cybersecurity has fully arrived.
Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.
