We’re getting the Scroll DAO conversation moving again. Following our September monthly call, we shared an update on Scroll’s consumer AI direction, Compass, and what the proposed changes could mean for the network, SCR, USX, and the DAO.

Scroll is upgrading its prover stack from OpenVM v1.6 to v2.0 on September 22 at 02:00 UTC. This update brings in the SWIRL proof system and the latest security fixes. You don’t need to do anything. Transactions, deposits, and L2 execution will keep running as usual. The batch finalization will be delayed by approximately one hour. More details ↓
