The forestry industry contributes more than $7 billion annually to Arkansas’s economy. Operations like the Domtar sawmill in Glenwood are critical to supporting rural communities.

Enjoyed being in Waldron and talking with ranchers and poultry producers including @ArFB President Dan Wright.
Input from Arkansas poultry producers led to the development of a pilot program that allows these growers access to an insurance policy protecting against weather-related risk that we included in the Working Families @TaxCuts. I’m committed to working to ensure our farmers and ranchers have the resources they need to make their operations successful and will continue working to advance additional farm assistance.
Farm Bill 2.0 is an investment in rural America. It will strengthen rural infrastructure and create opportunities for the next generation. We're working to get the Farm Bill signed into law so more communities like Mountainburg can improve their water systems. #BuiltForRuralAmerica
Today I joined @rep_stevewomack and @USDARD in Mountainburg to present $8.9 million in federal funding to help make critical upgrades to its water infrastructure.
Everyone should have access to clean, safe water and it's a great example of why we need to pass #FarmBill 2.0 so more communities can get assistance enhancing their water systems.

Farmers in Mississippi and across America are working hard to bring in this year’s harvest amid rising fuel and input costs. I appreciate President Trump and Secretary Rollins for making $8 billion available through USDA’s Harvest Fuel Relief Program. The program will provide one-time payments to cover a portion of modeled losses for the 2026 crop year.
I encourage producers to set up a Login.gov account linked to USDA now so they’re ready when applications open. For more info, visit usda.gov/farmers-first or contact your local FSA office. This assistance will help our farmers bridge the gap for the remainder of the crop year and continue to feed, clothe, and fuel our nation.
